ok so before the lunch break we covered
a lot of territory we started talking about just you know closing eyes a little bit of coaching on the trans signals you've been seeing you found some principles like Authority principle in normal voice that actually tends to
exaggerate things your community thoughts you can present to them that will make them more trancey and that evolved into coding language software power words and trans themes all of which is the linguistic aspect that
allow you to have more of an impact will be fair to say yeah so before lunch break the last thing that you did is you did a quick exercise where you can get all of it as much as you can focusing particularly on the power words
in the trans teams right so you probably recognize if I say you know you can all relax and feel comfortable and there's a difference between relaxing and watching you can feel calm calm no come again it's not the words
although it is the words isn't it so we're like you do now is likely to choose just a simple transfer now sending like relaxation and calmness piece something like that you know the same excited before the lunch break and
this time what I like you do before you begin I'd like you to reflect back on your life you've had a life some of you have more than one who knows most of you have had a life that's lasted longer than a few months and some
time in that period that you've been alive you felt comfort calmness and relaxation have you not if you were to cast your mind back through the annals of history your personal history it shouldn't be anything but easy to
find at least one example of an experience you had we actually really felt calm peaceful relaxed that be fair to say I'd like to select one of those one which you find particularly relaxing
peaceful calming and so on and just before you just raise your hands up in the air and put it down only when you actually got a specific memory in mind so unready hands up in the air as soon as you have a specific memory in mind
you put your hand down so i'll know that as soon as all the hands are down we're going to continue this just a specific memory of that sometime when you are calm relaxed peaceful you'll know you have the right one because when you
think about it now if you should feel more relaxed you yeah so he's gonna do the moment you can do with your partners we just tender moment just close your eyes as imitators and recall the feeling of that memory
recall a memory in detail then I'd like you to open your eyes look at your partner and ask them to close their eyes and going to in trance and do as much of what you did this morning as you want focusing again on particularly the power
word the trans themes the transition is being relaxation peacefulness anything that fits that memory that you have do not talk about that memory it's going to be just like you did before the lunch break
no difference is you will yourself be feeling differently because whilst you're talking you'll be remembering that pleasant experience understand what I'm asking to do a little bit of a multitasking thing so here's the only
caveat the only thing I want you to think about in case it's the only place it might go wrong we find yourself in his wonderful plays in memory you start talking about it it's great you still feel that memory exuding was talking
about whatever else you're talking about 7.2 do something that jars the memory inside you and stop it so go back to only talking slowly and comfortable yourself as it resonates with the memory that you have just I'm
asking you to do yes yeah so I'm gonna give you I'm gonna give you 45 seconds apiece this is going to be like in Cindy long that's now as and a minute-and-a-half with your partners
please begin now with that without more fun enjoy that who here was reluctant to change roles like no you keep talking yeah you think about it have you forgotten to pretend to be a
greater not exciting just in that I'm enjoying it and one that I guess your head of us today to material here who's find themselves really enjoying the part of the these experiences when your eyes closed just put your hands up please
that folks if we can call that hypnosis for now then I just makes your hypnotist isn't it can you get that of course but are you getting a part of the results so far yes is it really that difficult know if
people are responding to your suggestions on they certainly can keep in mind so we'll call this still remember you had a personal transfer him it's a personal memory that you have you have several that evokes the qualities
inside of you that hypnosis experience has right i call this whole thing that have going first if you want someone to get excited to go yay let's get excited we have some really good sushi do you believe it
it's great does that inspire excitement and enthusiasm people that is the only correct answer right yeah this is the manic depressives all of equal society yeah you're great sometimes so in order
to be hypnotist there's a certain element or performance that we have to deal with this world and the best the simplest way of performing and what you're doing is to just live it was the method acting so I ask you the same
exercise again with a different partner side group this time you're gonna start off your personal transmit you notice how to change the quality of your language yes who found them using more of this
hypnotic voice that we talked about earlier today we found that voice voice quality is becoming more accentuated right if they if you haven't found them become accentuated then spend more time in your personal transom really feel the
emotion and your voice will follow right unless you force it not to which would be strange but alright so you don't have your automatic voice increasing who as a hypnotist found themselves kind of being sucked into your own transyl that more
as well hands up as a result of which give you put your hands up if you found that come up with the right things to say was kind of easier and easier to get along who didn't find that your hands up whilst
you didn't find it what you find it difficult to get these the word and so on how are you feeling at those points were you feeling the thing that your personal
transformers around which was like relaxed comfortable remembering that memory going on is so grade I have no I don't want to talk to you about this is great you're feeling that you still had a
problem with it can we have the mic jack we just pass the mic down there can we have a mic on Steve due to pick up and that being this nice in trance as the hypnotist I was lost for words I could flow of words would were you doing
being in trance myself being relaxed and come and asking the other one to go in his memory and image and become relaxed and which which pointed our words and that you didn't think i did not use a flow of vocabulary with all the power
world right lines but it's not much run out of words is you don't think you the right ones no there were less words always fine with anything about having more words thank you
that's right for the rest of you who have difficulty would be fair to say that your difficulties final word wasn't so much a question of doing it right with less words there's more question of your mindset was in a different place
without be fabulous you had problems with this right so then either you get you in you get to continue to do the learning of one of two parts either you continue to explore how difficult he notices is when your mindset in the
wrong place or you stop it and discover it easy and the way you stop it is by starting with your personal transcends really engaging in the feeling that memory brings up inside you and then that then evoke the language and stuff
without follows as much or as little as seems appropriate with your partner the idea any questions on that alright so here's the exercise I'd like for you now to this can be a little more conversational you're gonna you can use
your power word order and transitions if you want his pilot conversation but have a little chat with your partner and i want you to use two types of trans themes although we have me talk about one of them yet the one is the one you
used to relaxation peacefulness and so on right these are more relaxed comfortable you can feel that general ambience the other I wanted to switch back to is one which feels more powerful
invigorating enthusiastic I'd like you to choose a more powerful invigorating enthusiastic memory that you will not tell them about your not ask them to think about you talk in general about anything horses for icap but whenever
you come across a personal translate the word relax notice I'm using the word relax not as relax relax I'm member Ewing it was more that quality and sound by accessing the feeling of that memory the same with power power does not sound
like relax does it what does it so we say the word I could say power yeah an excitement really going for it right and I'm very in Congress in terms of what I'm communicating so part of
your skill as a conversation hypnotist and includes with her eyes are opened her eyes are closed it's irrelevant is being able to switch your tonality to match to imbue each word with life of its own
you get the idea and your personal transgenes they gave me for doing that so that I want to have a nice powerful invigorating member inside that might put your hands up if you haven't got one yet
put your hands up here I'm going on yet think about something you like you've had a lot of the highest your life have new write a success of some sword passing examining you didn't think you'd make any getting it achieve in something
you know the thrill of going on a date with someone that you didn't know before maybe you did and that's why was thrilling the birth of a child right you get the idea so you all had experience in your life that are somehow empowering
thrilling exciting and so on the last few are there yet make it positive and that's good so now you have one calming trans theme and one invigorating transferring more personal transom will be fair to say
now have an or chat and try and steer towards words not concept but just words that match the memory so that the common one will become as peacefulness relaxation and so on the invigorating one might be excitement energy power and
fuse and so on but don't talk about your specific memory for their specific memory just talk doesn't make sense if you're more comfortable there talking at someone with the right when they got their eyes closed time to close your
eyes and just talk at them if you want to keep their eyes open keep your eyes open they're gonna have no responsibility to you they're gonna listen in the US over this just a little ranting session again
but one where you get to ride the roller coaster of language and experience combined to assist each other rather to track from each other to get the idea of this any questions because it's a bit of a novel thing i'm going to be really
generous and give you a minute each my cards just like crazy time is going to be what here we go so find a different part of folks in your groups and begin now so I go what kind of things that you notice
stand up and grab the Mike you ready for it setup it's a fantastic exercise i notice that what i was saying had so much more power and I could see it in the other person and they can feel it in myself and it's much easier than
expected we tend to be in such a rush to say things we forget to make a point of how to say them anything that's worth saying is were saying well not necessarily right but well understand the difference
and we rush things in our culture a lot which means that all things we focus on same thing so right we don't see them well you're better off saying them well and seeing them right you know what i mean by that yes and then hopefully this
experience has started to bring it up to you it's actually ok this is where the less-is-more syndrome comes in you can actually get away with saying a lot less because a lot more is packed into one of
the things you do say because you said them so well as part of for example how certain literature works or poems in particular work they say more with less because they're taking the time to see them well not necessarily right though
you get the idea the back in to stand up and get the Mighty hello everybody i find it really beautiful having this exercises especially you can see the pregnant words which you wanted extra you know
just sending through to the other person mhm and you can catch them back as well you know which is something that we take for granted but when you do this exercise he clicks back you always hear them
yeah it does click right in and the beauty of every single exercise you've done so far and those folks back home hello you'll be hope you doing at home is you can do it at your leisure
anytime anyplace anywhere especially with friends the worst thing you can do is you can have like no friends and no life outside of hypnosis that's fine if that's the way you want to encapsulate your life
you still have people in this room you can call up and do an exercise with you mean nowadays with like online programs like skype and whatever it's even free right and all these exercise themselves they develop a certain scale a little
talent which on its own is very simple to do but have you noticed how ready is that since this morning how far you've come how much you're doing but how to be simply it feels to do it all yes I appreciate from time to time it may seem
like a lot of moving parts are going on right now because they are you look at all this stuff this is not even having finished day one look at all the stuff that we've gone through is not quite a an amount of
content have gone through yet you're all doing it rather be naturally and spontaneously why because every single one of you has done this already in your day-to-day lives you've had many conversations we've said things well and
had exactly the impact you wanted you had many conversations where you seamlessly naturally flowed with ideas we managed to excite someone or relax them and of course based out between them sometimes more sometimes less
you had all the other conversations the world more frustrating than quite work out the way you wanted from two and on so what we're doing here is not so much training you something new but actually teaching you what those are all
things are you already know that are worth emphasizing so you can get rid of everything else because less really is more that point you get the idea just end up in the microwave please for me it was surprised that I change when I got
prepared to 22 emotions for me that it was really easy to change the state and then I was surprised because the content go out of me i just did I didn't really thought about that but it's just magical slow because I just felt the way I
should speak ok thank you thank you said that does anyone else could have had that same experience where you no longer have to pay attention to the content as much because it's just the right thing seems
to be there this is where the mindset things something really important we're really taking apart the machinery impact a rocket fuel that makes it nurses work this is what some people claim not content a lot of people in factory
trained with me notice h+ will develop this idea further and further but you notice how even mr. day's progressed the more we get into the mental aspect of what we're doing here not weed into someone else but what you do for
yourself inside your own mind is the hypnotist the more powerful your communications that has become as it's not it's because you already possess all the tools that you need to become exquisite communicators exquisite
hypnotist suggest us what you need is the right the right mental machinery to select only those experiences only those abilities that you happen to need at that point in time does it make sense to you guys and this is what we're doing it
and you just experience for yourself Yakub this whole idea of when you go first when your mindset in the right place you can't run out of words you don't have nothing to say as long as
you have something to purposely trying to achieve voices emotional game does and you're willing to go first you switch your own mindset first everything else becomes natural the only challenge to you will be is can you continue this
process these mental games been playing with yourselves in here and take them out there in the real world with real people because if all he did was what you've learned so far none of the actual bells and whistles that will be to find
to layer on top of this i respect virtually everyone in this room should at least double their ability to be influential and impactful and others you get so thanks for that the other comments or questions just stand up i
don't know if anyone else felt this way but for me what surprised me was that it almost doesn't matter what you say to me I could go into trance very easily you can read me a suit can or say he doesn't matter and actually it doesn't matter
about for me the sound of your voice or anything which is pretty exciting what is great is saying saying I tell you relax guys go to track now will happen that not really gonna drive a chance like this but no one's doing that
everybody is very well be disposed so that's also having his position in my mind I have predisposed to be in the chance let me just pause you that that is the key factor right there because you spent more today getting the right
state of mind there and then being stuck in the wrong set of mind all the the technical skills we've been talking about are naturally feel natural because their natural when they're in the right place in the mind this is good point as
I need to talk about places in the mind imagine that your mind is like a big mansion full of rooms each room is will call a state an emotional way of being although it's more than just emotional content whenever you are in a particular
state of mind you're in a particular room inside dimension whatever experiences you have once instead of mind gets stored as memories inside of that room in psychology this is called state-dependent learning or
state-dependent behavior again feel free to look it up it's a bigger topic is actually very research thing especially the seventies so when you a happy room in other words when you're feeling happy you have easy
access to all the memories that you were happy in don't you think about your life it is the record successes good friends good times and all the rest of it if someone tries to be a party pooper reminder of some unpleasant thing you
like I just this and just yeah kind of but i don't remember it right now of course another days you're in the sad room or the unhappy movie and upset with people room right no one's gonna mix that one else from the house but I guess
I'm unique in that one huh when you're angry someone when you're sad memories have access to them and one here in a relationship with someone i know you've never had this experience that when you get upset by them but
something just did suddenly you remember like all the 15 years of Miss face that made sense there before then right that's dependent learning hypnosis works the same way right now what you're doing is you're
building a hypnosis room inside your mind will call the H+ expect more why we call it that but essentially hypnosis room in a store all your skills your abilities and attitude about hypnosis in the hypnosis room where it belongs
so when you needed notices you know exactly where to find it and when you don't you have to go there it makes sense you guys essentially right now all these exercises are doing is allowing you to visit all your other memories or
the other experiences and collect those specific memories little trophies and pictures and so on that related they have noticed room so you can relocate them you get the idea now if you do this fairly which is what we're doing will be
spending a lot of time over the next few days doing this you'll find that as soon as you switch on as you soon as you can think about your hypnosis room everything starts coming flooding back which is easy
it makes like a lot easier for you you have to remember mines of scripts you don't have to remember all these different principles all you do is just let you like switching on the light on
oh here i am oh I know do now and the only times you won't know what to do is when you're not in that room and it's your choice leave and go into the hypnosis room so you can get good at it or wallow in the am not good enough room
for long as you want realizing that's a personal choice just made that make sense you guys so thank you that there's another hand over here that know the phone just just stand up and get my 22
just two things i was playing the role of the hypnotist fellas have a clunker law and maybe too much that had planned climbed I like you got us going to the information but then when my partner played the amethyst I felt like she had
as much content and there was poison that was available that secretive a beneficial effect when the deepening is well just two different experiences the thought so if I understand you correctly when you were the hypnotist you felt
that you were a little rushed you're thinking too much and when you're the subject you found that although they're saying just as much they seem to have more time to just pause is more at ease and so on
right so what again what we're going to take from that it was almost as if not identical except my my opposite of the end of watching it was different from receiving them then really it wasn't really what we are saying is something
going on inside your mind wasn't it yes so if you're feeling clam door cramped up inside your mind well that's not going to help you as my test is it no so you have a choice continue to explore that as phenomenon
or stop it and make life easier serious yes because remember wasn't getting a lot of possibilities to do i am very much aware that there's not enough time to the mall and i'm also very much aware that all you should also be aware that
you're only being asked to add one little thing to focus on you as much of the other stuff is relevant which means you don't have to do all of it at the same time you can if you wish to or not
okay all right folks it's time to time to move on a little bit so powers you've been using them this morning you probably fell into a few who found themselves doing language offers and power words and transoms by accident
in the last exercises put your hands up right you see what happens when you go into hypnosis room the stuff starts national coming out automatically right the question is can anyone anyone it go and train with me before anyone have any
idea of what is the principle that makes power words work and the ideas the link to ideas absolutely what is the principle that expresses as I said anyone who hasn't trained with me
before so yes this is the law of association the fundamental the fundamental building block of how your unconscious mind the reasons is through associations if you ask sums neuropsychologist
neuroscientist was one of the one of the philosophy or psychology question really is how do we learn things the first place one of the key ideas usually associate this to that to this to that and so on
now the kind of that the kind of logic that young coach might as well but the primary called basic function is the law of associations think of the dreams you've had you had dreams which may be very short but we're very full of
content and meaning right it might be something as simple as seeing a shoe and that shoe meant so much it meant you know growing up your family childhood being the third in line which means you get all the hand-me-downs but actually
kind of happy because you got to kick the football a few more times because you know didn't matter so much and everything is not one of the shoe there's a host of memories and all we had was a split second to think about
shoe and it all came flooding back without you you've had experiences like this in dreams like this right so the law of association can be very efficient very effective even the other thing that the
power words do so the link to ideas that weren't necessarily linked beforehand hence if I say to go into a trance your conscience might say what the hell how what but if they to close your eyes and
you'll go into a trance well you constantly not to control one and you're unconsciously more likely to respond to the other it's only probability but you stack enough probabilities you guys close to a
certainty is possible in this life you get the idea the thing the power words do is they create a smooth chain of ideas everyone close your eyes for a moment if you would
if you and I were to go to a beach i would probably show you a particular beach on a beautiful sunny day that was beautiful white sand blue turquoise ocean now if you know where on this Beach you'd probably be able to send the
temperature of the sand if you were going to shoot at the time to take them off at any point and feel the sand between your toes there might even be a mild breeze so while the sun is warm it's not too hard
i want those ways to be rolling in there was a sound attached to associated to that you could look at the ocean and even get a center that briny salty sea air as you turn around and show an elephant staring down at you this trunk
held high so come on back open your eyes for that last bizarre image there so what happened that hands up that when I mentioned the elephant who here got a little bit annoyed with me who lost the
kind of experience put your hand right up in the air so cow in mind about a third of the room is the interesting part whoohoo here when I brought the elephant in an elephant right and it's done right on with it most the room it
was explain this phenomenon in moment who here change the beach to somewhere would be an elephant would be relevant like say to Africa so that put your hands up you know what you did something in order to make the image
yeah permissible notice we have a couple of things going on for some of you more of you a few of you then would be the norm just because we're doing a lot of hypnotic exercise already explain the phenomenon moment more of you basically
felt for you if you like a third of you failed the jarring effect and we're happy with me detract from your experience that be fair to say at least some of you have you have to identify yourself you don't want to
will be an unhappy enough with me that you in fact I saw a few of you open your eyes and look like what would you go and ruin that lovely little experience for me for right I'm glad you know amount of violence yet you don't keep doing these
rates what's going on there how can some happened most of your lease about two-thirds of the room have replan experience the spiders weird imagery about a third of the room get upset with
me about it what i've done is i have i have violated the law of associations and in doing so I have activated a different mechanism inside your mind by jarring it the elephant did not fit that scene i
invited you into the beach tonight a sunny warm beach what things just by a the association of your experience of your life and experiences what fits waves see some of this in America and it is the talk about the ocean didn't help
because you think about when the Great Lakes right it's not salty birds sand warmth difference between the ward rice and the website and the bottom right you get the idea elephants do not sit in our typical
folder of things associated beaches right unless you've been growing up in india or thailand my bad which gives elephants fit in anywhere right so by violating your expectations were your associations that you already
have built up for a lifetime i triggered a mental mechanism now in those of you I trigger the mental mechanician it basically spoil the transfer you to one degree or another at least it had diminished it the rest of
you however despite the the break we're willing to go along with it anyways weren't you like our friend yeah you know what I could get upset about this but we can self-insure why not it's too nice to argue over this one
right so what happened to any ideas go ahead some people they don't have a structured ideas and how it has to be no not how it is but how how they think it has to be but when you can renovate it and you can
just let go and then yeah why not that's my way how I do whether they be some people do it different but the constant letting go is correct in fact your whole idea is pretty much on the button but i will look at more
functionally what is being activated is not one of him what is being activated inside the mind stand up and get my two was actually be activated inside the mind when that's happening right you've got you you're
very close to the answer here good i'm not sure if it's something has been activated a little bit not sure there's something is being activated but it seems that it's a trust thing partly the trust thing is exactly what is the
mechanism that activates it is one of those things over him I'll give me down to the minute I mean you don't expect to read my mind just teasing you a bit okay and I'm just wondering the likes of a really
comfortable chair and cut in the countryside would that be classes the same thing with a dissociated from the scene it breaks the it brakes the brakes expectation organizations already set up and something happens in that break it
introduces something else in natural we're interested in it the thing that introduced it seems we might as well go down the road now is what we know at the different is called different things but essentially called
a critical factor now what is this critical factor you will find many many many different dispositions of critical factor in fact you'll probably find a few more definitions of the critical factor they'll find notices you'll find
about as many definitions we have no Cesare hypnotist so i guess if you can purchase a schizophrenic enough to come up with several versions of the cool factor so I'm not gonna try and get too technical about the whole thing
the way I look at the idea of the critical factor in a very simplistic way is going back to idea of rooms in the mind whether yes room and a no room inside the yes from people look for any reason they can't agree with you to
accept something what you're saying even if 99% of it is BS and useless in order and get rid of it all folks in the one thing of value to keep you all done that before right any parent in the room you know you
never done this with your kids are they come in all proud of thing look what I created mommy or daddy and you go have no idea what alyses it's great this is beautiful tall thing what is it right
you found the one thing yes it is totally yes it's all that's exactly what it is you found the one thing you can agree with even the recipes just makes no sense right then inside the no room the opposite effect takes place and it
depends on how it deep into the room you go by the no room this is where people start finding any reason to reject it even if it's the most tiny little thing and that's what they focus on so these are kind of people when you say
you know it's a beautiful sunny day for me at cancer oh you know your congratulations you just you just gotta pay rise don't have to pay more the taxman now right and of course these these naysayers
they're a joy to behold and work with Dante so the reason make this distinction is because a lot of people will a lot of people hypnotism and in particular have made the mistake of believing that someone would an
analytical mind someone who is very smart if some of the contrary be hypnotized is lower than advisability because they will overthink it and then they'll destroy and all the rest of it but
that's not the case at all the only thing that destroys the anodic process that inhibits it is this critical factor the room inside your mind that chooses to say no you get in go ahead and never make up there just
stand up so we can all see I was wondering how's how specific one should be because of that shouldn't leave it rather nebulous and so that the client can make their own interpretation i worked with somebody once who had a
phobia of sharks and it didn't go very well when we talk about to see sure so I just wondered whether know for sure and this is exactly a thing that you need to find first of all remember we're in conversation notices for this one
really come up as much because you're when you say you know I love going on holiday going to a beach today no go you'll call you know that yeah but I for the woods don't you it is basically switched on a dime because you
can do that in a conversation so we're going down the therapeutic process to answer your question very quickly though it's you simply awesome up front right and if they don't like it you probably see one of these things they just
switched direction straightaway delivered to abstract because it was too abstract is no content at all there's nothing at all like it's a wonderful place to be nice place that's that you really like you are you there yet
which some people if you're a different more in transformer yes room will go yes I am right tell me about it and take notes and the necklace very nice explain comes in i'll tell him exactly same thing right but for the most part you're
fine did you know both approaches have a value is just finds its question of where that sliding scale used to stand okay we're coming out it back to the critical factor what I'd like to do now is like you to experiment a little bit
with these yes no rooms okay with you guys he's gonna do you can do as much or as little of all this stuff that we've been doing this morning as you wish honestly I don't mind I'd i
will encourage you to really to continue to focus on those portions of what we've been doing that I just performance-related the authority element in normal voice your own personal trans themes and this idea of
squeezing the meeting from your words to make more meaningful these sort of things here i strongly encourage you to really make your stable because it's a grating suggestion internalized and it's easy to do isn't it
so next we're going to do when you is is when you talk about your trans themes and relaxation comfortable asking stuff I want you to proceed it by just a very simple litany of fact those facts that have any rhyme or reason the only thing
those facts have got to have is there going to be true enough that the person will absolutely agree to them for example if if I said to the lady you're wearing this shirt she might think not a blouse I don't know if she makes the
same distinction of mine doesn't make sense but i can for sure I can definitely say you you know you're wearing a top you're wearing something you know your clothes right no I'm standing here naked rate back
away slowly from the crazy lady yes we get the idea here yes I like you to spend will have 45 seconds again with this one I spent like just really close your eyes go into trance do some transitions whatever and then switch the
guest list random fact that you know the must agree with at the end of which to spend a couple of minutes doing your trance themes and power words just like we did before the lunch break
you get the idea so basically the exact the same we're doing less than before it's just in order to warm up to the powers and trans teams usually get a random set of facts in your hypnotic voice and written all that stuff just to
see what impact that has then we'll come back we'll do another exercise to compare it to I'll have a chat about that sound good to you guys 45 seconds apiece and a half and total off you go folks
alright guys eventually we'll have fun yeah and no you had to experience that is the person with the eyes closing the subject first in the hypnotist the contrast is now I'd like to do this with a different person different partner in
your side group and you say longer going to be a minute apiece so it's 60 60 seconds and total or two minutes in total 60 seconds each in that minute you're going to be doing two things to contrast them now this is the warmer
back you're going to start off by coach is going to a transitory Adam what are your warmup something to do then when you spend get collect five or six simple fact that are plainly wrong totally wrong something they will go
what the hell's wrong with you man right let's look around you have seen route just in case was going out by one but just wrong you know like the moon is made of cheese it isn't the the you know you're sitting
here naked and loving it you know stuff that stuff that they're clearly not going to agree with right is the important part spend about find 5 10 of those things is only about 10 seconds doing that part then spend a few more
like a few seconds going into trance teams and powered cycle again right now think about the first 30 seconds in the second 30 seconds I want you to move smoothly into collecting facts that are actually true
or at least true enough they'll agree with them just like it in the previous exercise at the end of collecting five or six or ten little facts that there will absolutely agree with and just listen about just clinically as clumsy
as you want i want to go back to this idea of hypnotic trance themes and the power words I want you notice the difference you can observe as a hypnotist inside your subject and also as a subject how you felt throughout
those two processes inside of the same hypnotic induction to get the idea or the am alright guys so be 60 seconds in total different partner off you go all right to get the mic reading so stand up if you have something to
compare and contrast gotta go over here behind you then actually I was very deep transit me so when I department told me that this room is windy actually felt it actually felt it so when you're trying to because
you've been kind of already in that line I transpace when he said when she said close is going to transform me you went into a trance and this is interesting isn't it something which she attempted to make wrong was actually accepted is
correct what's going on here which room was he in the s room this brings us to something very important and if you take nothing else but this away from here this will be
standing great state of the rest of your life not everything we think is true is really true most things we think are true are only true because we think they are so we believe it would you have
absolutely no way of actually knowing it may give you an example of this how many of you think that the world is flat hands up little tongue coming out your mouth to set it all right so it would be generally acceptable that the
world that the the world planet were on right now is rather be spherical right how do you know have you measured it have you done the mathematics that prove the curvature of the earth as a global phenomenon how you are you an astronomer
and can and can deduce it from the plants emotions and so on have you actually done any of the work to prove it for yourself have you gone physically into outer space to receive the planet earning
enough to be able to figure out this is actually one big round thing going around know where you got the idea from it's because within books because someone and told useful in school or sometimes
at home the parent tells you and you just believed it and you were ridiculed if you were even going to consider an alternative point of view or if you insisted on proving it to yourself why would you bother doing that of course
everyone knows it's true and we look back on a period of our history where we think others were foolish for thinking the all this world is flat but we have chosen to believe that as blindly as they did
it's very important that you don't fool yourself about this truth with a capital T things are only true the ability to extend that we believe them even if it happens to be wrong and the the real truth is something totally different
it is 11 for that human being until you can make something that was wrong in something that is true just like the witness in the room to get the idea if you examine most of the things you hold to be true inside of your life from the
laws of physics through to relationship issues and all the rest of it i suspect the preponderance of what you hold to be true is only true with a little tea because most of us don't take the effort is a lot of effort to think things
through fully team approximate what might be a more universal truth with a capital T will say this month later there's another round brushes very useful for gnosis so what happened to make
something that was falls into something that was true what happened in this situation he moved rooms he went from the no room or at least from the corridor we could have gone any direction into a room was willing to
accept ideas not without analysis but without criticism the different been critical until you're thinking and being critical as a personal being using criticism us a difference it's a nuance that that we kind of eroded in our
culture one looks information and find out is there a logical flow to this is there actually value to these ideas to the flow conceptually the other is looking really from the no room to break
something down and show it's valueless it destroys that is the critical factor in action and we make the mistake in our culture to think that analysis equals criticism it does not they used to but the word criticism was
corrupted I think over time to become more critical in this sense you get the idea anyone here working a corporation a lot of cooperation hands up you'll appreciate this one it's the same that happens when someone walks into your
office and say let me give you some feedback the reason they're laughing is because this was something introduced in the sixties and seventies and then it got adopted more the agent nineties as a tool for people to be able to exchange
ideas without feeling threatened right he got corrupted into basically unbridled an unbridled tongue-lashing under the acceptable framework always just feedback I don't do what you told me so that destroy the spirit of the
tool by abusing it in action you get the idea so if you get someone to the right room inside that mind things that weren't true will become true their mind we'll make it true because it needs to be able to
accept it that is the essence of analysis right there isn't it the skill becomes how do you move someone into the yet room especially if they started the no room doesn't it without idea in mind all that
question in mind what experiences did you have between in our last exercise where you can run out of 42 nite stand up and we'll get the microphone to you oh yeah for me it was the biggest difference was the contrast so going
from there know where the disagreement that yakap was doing it was almost like deep-sea diver falling off the shelf first suggestion of yes told me really d really good so the kind of things going on here
I don't have the opposite experience by the way that when you had all the nose and you have the transceivers like yeah I'm already into this and then only when they started going to yes is that some me started warming up can I don't have a
more gradual version of that hands up so there's two different things are going on is really the same principle in action but in different directions your version of it the nose were keeping the no room enough is like someone's trying
to drag out the yes room for no room but because you already know at least unconsciously that the yesterday's words pleasant not a no room for yes room is what you know is other room that's another style you might want to state
it's like no it is the happy I'm gonna stay there so when he's forcing you out of the the yes room by giving you incorrect facts you're tolerating it and it's basically building frustration so when the frustrated is being removed its
created more impetus right has anyone here ever been housebound for a longer period of time because I got a project that got to finish or because they've been ill and really just a bleeping they get you know the idea of
cabin fever we're stuck in a place for too long how do you feel when you suddenly get out it like oh I'm here baby I'm gonna party tonight yeah bring out the milk and the cookies because i'm staying up
late if you don't mean that an example again of using frustration as anticipation building because you couldn't when you can you do more don't have been on a diet that's one of the reasons why diets
turn work if the diet is based on denial all you're doing is you're building psychological energy to do more of the bad behavior when the dieters quoting could finished that's one of the secrets of dividing by
the way die do not exist diets make people fat full stop and there's plenty of research to to demonstrate this not because they weren't still gonna necessarily wanna lose weight in the moment is the
fundamental attitude that's the problem a diet has an idea of a conclusion is a goal destination to stay slim fit is a lifestyle is about the journey not the destination those people make about this destination will do your best for the
rest of their life most likely they your for a while give up and then balloon out and basically role is their lives I'm sorry but that's how the nature of how dives are psychologically it does
not work with human beings the ones that do succeed are the ones that turn into a lifestyle which is something where they enjoy the whole journey becomes know this is how I am it's part of what they're doing to get
the idea him so by denying Karen the ability to go into the yes room you create enough frustration when he was allowed deep-sea diving right off the shelf but that was only because you have the pre-prepared context of having had
all these other little pleasant experiences here and set you up for that right others of you have more frustrating expensive less pleasant one do not and it took longer
once you lost the trust that someone he was talking about to build it back up again didn't go ahead to stand up and i'll get the mic more easily yeah it was just something i was
wondering there you wouldn't even think about some news in the no room if you wish somebody who is clearly resistant and does it also work in the opposite direction if you started off giving them things that plainly were not true then
you could move them maybe for anotr maybe it does maybe they're not could be a yes to yes to yes you ahead of the game haha thank you you need address that quickly now we'll discovered more when
time comes what you've just discovered is how to hijack resistance is a more that's just remind me about that tomorrow this is not for today right now but yes that's exactly how to hijack someone's
resistance and a lot of elegant ways you can do that and the essence of it is exactly just said they're okay but coming back to that is of nose and yeses who here notice just completed the only day of relatively full sample of this
here notice that when you got your initial knows as a subject and then the transoms were pulled up you were more resistant towards those ideas the pleasant relaxation the comfort even though you want to accept them it just
felt wrong somehow yeah I'd be hands down again those of you who has put your hands up who found that once the yes it's not coming in took a little while but eventually you got the second lot of trans seems they
were much more pleasant the first set hands up so moving someone inferno room or the yes from is a habit in other words when people when people being forced the situation without saying no no no repeated it repetitively and i
will i will set this in a crude way but there's a refinement to this that will come in so it's not as as black and white as it may sound when you went in Rome and get them to reject ideas constantly they'll get the point where
they'll reject more ideas right that's what happens when you food when you got some knows there's little chance themes and then yeah I kind of like the idea but no not working for me right
the same is the opportunity and the reverse when you get people more into the yes room and you present your suggestions in this case in the form of pleasantness relaxation so on they form that mental habit of being year saying
yes they're going to the US rumors that matter of habit or routine and then it continues in the relationship so then people like here and will find that they were looking for the opportunity to say yes even though they're being forced to
say no which is another little psychological paradigm you can then use a lever right now this is where gets very important folks if being in the know room makes things force and being the yes terms makes them is true even if
they were in tribute for the start was just like the wind thing india win phenomena that was talking about and if you expire experiences will you know our action not to say that getting someone to agree we'll build agreement and so
the yes gets built up more and this is the important point truth at least the way most people think about it is a habit it is a mental habit it becomes true because they used to thinking of it as
true or in a context where enough other things are accepted as true that slips right along with it truth becomes more a question of mental habit then truth as one of people when most people think of it you get the idea
but this is the important thing that's different between was true with a capital T was true with a small T this is most more is true that small T that's because the nature of how most people make things true is through the law of
association have been told often up by the right people in the right context and becomes true because of that that means that we can train or change virtually any reality because most of the things people think are true have no
capital letters in that is not what I mean by this this is this is very important that you become an influencer now notice that you make a distinction between those two kinds of true and the reason for it is because I'm not a big
believer in this office and which is basically yeah make whatever actually feel like no big deal did there is a big deal if you if you just make things that are true that are convenient to be true for that point in
time you will do a lot of damage in a long-term either to relationship or to a group of people or society in general because well because it has huge amount of philosophy behind i guess but essentially it keep changing what's
truly make it to school make what's convenient true you'll eventually lose trust because when people look for truth they're looking for a measure of certainty or at least longevity within it that makes sense but just because
they're looking for it doesn't mean that what they found has a capital letter on it and this is particularly important for something we'll talk about off the brake so with a happy thought let's take a
brief break it's now eight minutes 24 let's just take 10 minutes so we can kind of just
