welcome to CD 11 of the conversational
hypnosis home study program on this CD entitled conversational transformerless getting what you want you'll discover the secret of getting what you wanted of interactions and helping other people to improve the way they think feel and the
behaviour of the in Cajun now one of the first things will look at is a quick checklist called a life checklist to make sure that you know that you're using all of the hypnotic skills within a given interaction
next we'll move on to the pcat formula which will give you a specific way of helping people make positive changes inside their life will give you an example of inaction and then break it down for you so you can see how the
language and all the other things you've learned about already have been built into the pcat formula the next we'll look at future memories this is a very powerful way of conditioning the unconscious mind
towards certain patterns of behavior in the future next we'll look at the mysterious power of posthypnotic suggestions on how to activate posthypnotic suggestions so that you can induce behaviour in people
even when you're not there finally we'll look at how to roll this whole thing into the Camilla formula in order to motivate people towards certain behaviors again will give you an example of the Camilla formula in action and
bring it down for you so you can see how each of the steps actually looks like in practice once again a lot of hypnotic language is being used within the context of this CD so you're driving a car or operating any kind of machinery
make sure you stop whatever you're doing so you don't go on to the next track until you're ready to pay full attention as soon as you really do that just sit back relax and enjoy learning conversational hypnosis
so by now you've spent a lot of time learning how to get people into trances in a very conversational sort of way you've been doing all the exercise up this point you should be a tremendous conversation hypnotist the question
though is what you do these skills how can you actually do something once you have meant trance you need some kind of trance tools some processes which allow you to create changes inside of people as a part of your conversation
induction most ability changes for actual personal development or to motivate them toward some kind of action that will be useful for them or for your interaction no matter what your profession is whenever you want to
influence another human being on purpose they can only be two reasons for doing this it's either to help them overcome some kind of problem or internal block to something also motivate them towards a
better future to motivate them to do something to get a better future in order to be able to do this I've developed a peek at formula to overcome problems and the communal formula to motivate people and create
specific actions that will allow you to help them build a better future now the really good news is that the unconscious mind has a drop to do and part of our job is to help the person survive and thrive in their environment
which means that if you are generally helping someone else to have some kind of win some kind of positive results inside their life they're unconscious mind is likely to help you along on the same way so this is where the win-win
night here can become a very useful thing and help you become more influential now as we look at these to prance processes that peak at former in the communal formula and the things in between to help make these more powerful
I wanted to hear something in mind and that is once you've mastered these things you actually forget all about those processes will internalize them you must return to normal conversations and stuff will start slipping out at
this point is very useful to keep a little checklist inside your mind the checklist that I use myself I call the life checklist the life check list is a way for me to ensure that when I'm talking to someone and I'm giant
starting to use conversational-hypnosis patterns that I'm actually maximizing my communication it allows me to still all the knowledge that have put into these cds into a very simple four step model life stands for language induction
frames and emotion these are the four hearts that makeup conversationally Moses you recover them language cover on CD 3 and six induction the government cd8 including the fourth protocol on cd1 frames are color on cd10
an emotion have been covers on cd5 then you're pretty much bound to have a successful outcome remember these forms the peak and the commander formula the future memories the postal suggestions all these things
that will be doing what kind of fit in naturally when you get everything else right while you're talking to people sometimes it's too complicated to try and think about these big models just think I use
my language well am I using language of flow and I using better suggestions am i changing my personality all these things that you very learned induction are you going through some kind of formal or informal induction procedure
are you going through the four-stage protocol in other words captivating their attention ru bypassing the critical factor ru activating some kind of unconscious response and moving it towards some kind
of outcome that you have in mind your frames or frame is so important because if you're not sitting frames chances are you don't have an outcome in mind you have a real purpose for communicating if you don't have a purpose for
communicating chances are your communicator rather poorly so if you keep your frames in mind you'll know that you're achieving something very specific and likewise if you know what you're trying to achieve what your
purposes it becomes very easy to think of frames set in order to achieve that purpose finally we come to emotion emotion is the fuel that drives behavior a human interaction you must have
emotional content to whatever your interaction you have or whatever cannot take processes that you're using now the reason these life check this is very interesting is because a very quick way no matter of seconds you can just check
with yourself and say am I using all four things language induction frames and emotion let's say one day I wake up and I'm a bit emotionally flat for whatever reason i'm doing my interactions and somehow
something is kind of off I don't know what it is i'm checking i'm using language yes they do induction yes I don't know what outcome or purpose by setting the right frames yes I am am I having an emotional
interaction and suddenly realize i built up my own barriers inside remember the key is to go first in order to set an emotional trigger someone else and activate their own emotions you need to go the first of your emotions
suddenly i realized i have created a war inside myself I'm not going first hence there's no emotional interaction and that's probably the blockage on the interactions coming from the life checklist is a great checklist for you
to very quickly analyze what's happening in your interaction and where you might be falling down so always keep the life-form in the back of your mind as we go through the various strands processes that will help you to get what you want
out of the interactions now let us look at the first formula for creating a planet beneficial change in someone else the formula is mine to be able to help a friend or family member a colleague
we're having a tough time to become a slump or something else that's limited in their life you could use it to help motivate an employee or even a client that has difficulty making up his mind one way or another because of some
mental confusion is going on one of the most beautiful things about the pcat formula is that it can be done totally conversationally so you can slip into this pattern while having a normal chat someone is very useful by the way if
you're talking to someone and live in the moment e plus they're talking to have a problem for example to your salesperson and just as you're about to close the deal you'll notice that the other person
isn't quite in the right state of mind something not quite there I need to shift them to be able to overcome some kind of hurdle problem or internal resistance you can ship it straight into the pcat formula and at
the end of the tail end of that you move straight on to your clothes and the whole thing becomes the smooth and seamless process it just seems to have been part of the normal presentation or the normal conversation you've had a
peek at stands for p4 problem in other words you have to activate the problem some way c stands for confuse the reason for confusion is to bypass the critical factor and also to mess up some of the problem construct which allows you to go
straight to the next step which is a for activate solution finally move on to t4 transforming which becomes a mechanism for putting it all together so let's have a look at those things in more detail for a moment the p4a problem
why would you want to actually activate a problem that someone is having surely want to stay away from problems well here's the difficulty was staying away from problems of all you have a solutions but you can attach them to
anything then they'll never solve the actual problems are designed to solve because there's nothing that whatever trigger them into action the thing about problems is they already exist in the real world in other words
they know when it's time for them to occur when you actually attach a solution to something you need to attach the problem so when the problem started getting fired rather the problem becoming a
bronze thing is a problem it begins to trigger the solution itself think of it this way if you imagine their mind being like a Christmas tree lot of fairy lights when usually light have one of those very light one set of
those those unique patterns of lights that could be the problem state if you have a solution it must light up within the same pattern of fairy lights so you can see the glowing in the dark
whenever the problem gets activated if you light up a different Christmas tree well then the solution isn't going to light up when you flip the right switch so it's very important to activate the problem so that the neurology is
activated when you attach a solution to something attached the right place when I say to activate the problem what I don't mean is that Yuri traumatize them or create a huge amount of problems with them you'll have just
enough to have an open doorway so when you throw in the solutions later on the resources that they have somewhere to attach to typically when you do this in a conversational setting the problem part of the pcat formula will happen
automatically I mean by that is that you're talking to someone else they'll automatically go into the problem and you'll know haha now it's time to go into the hole pattern that we've created so their mind
once we have the P the problem part of the pcat formula as the sake of completeness remember that in most conversations and most interactions that it will be taken care of by your friends your family member your client your
colleague because it happens spontaneously the next step is c4 confuse when someone is in a problem stayed there going to go run a certain cycle over again they tend to be used that problem so
they get stuck in particular right so you have to come in like a bulldozer and break up all the pieces so one of the things of confusion does is it breaks up all the pieces so you now have new building blocks to create a new kind of
constructive mental construct the other thing that confusion does at the same time is it tends to induce trance if someone's very confused or trying to escape in a particular direction they're actually going to give them will be the
activation the solution in a moment's time the third in the confusion does is it bypasses the critical factor so that is less interference going on so confused is a very important stage because it allows you to break up a
concrete that alone was set in their ways that was set in the same problem ways secondly it builds response potential because most people don't like confusion that need to have clarity so when you
often clarity in the forms of a solution they'll jump on it as a way of releasing the tension built up in the confusion the third thing that confusion does is it bypasses the critical factor and thereby allowing you to have a strong
impact with your suggestions the next stage is to activate the solution itself usually the solution will be some kind of state that was an emotional feeling maybe anything you tend to send the unconscious mind on some kind of search
the past how do you do this you can do this by reframing them you can tell a story about something someone else did you can use your emotional triggers to go back and remove if I and experience I've had in the past in which they felt
powerful or an emotional state that's useful here you can send the unconscious mind on a search using process instructions to automatically find solutions themselves like a sort of unconscious dream you can also use old
behaviors that they can use at other times which would be useful in this situation it's just that they have managed to tattoo finally you might just want to have a visualization making imagine do
something different all these things are solutions but the thing is they need to somehow attach the problem the final party for transformation is what attaches the solution to the problem if you think of
it as having two glasses of water you have a problem glass you have a solution class hopefully you have more inside the solution class and the problem class at the moment is still separate the next step is to mix the two classes and give
them a good shake so that now the problem the solution mix up together so that now the solution comes to dominate and clears out the problem that's the pcat former people problems seeking for confuse a for activate solution
t44 transform the next track you'll see an example of how the pcat formula can be very used very simply and elegantly in order to help someone create some kind of positive change in their life so you have this problem and I know you've
had this problem for quite some time that's been weighing on your mind if you wanted to change it I thought about joining you've tried different things but everything seems to have failed you really don't know how to
change now because you think you've tried everything you can think about changing everything is like trying to recall someone's name sometimes things just get stuck the tip of your tongue you know that something is going to
happen you know that name is there but just come for the life of you remember what it is you know what was that name who was that actor and of course you'll recognize from your own experiences the more you stop trying to overcome the
solution the more the problem won't bother you as it easy away like a tight knot beginning to unwind now because you know there's a way you could rather be and if you were to imagine yourself a long long time after you already solve
the problem now you can see that solution seems so obvious with hindsight now when you think about all the problems you've overcome in the past you can see that with clear hind side they really weren't that bigger the
last words and so what you're facing now can't rink down to size as soon as you realize that you're on your way to let your natural creativity soul things for you because you have had the experience many times but just when you stop trying
to remember that something that can name your mind easily brings you the solution to the problem you thought about before going to sleep was solved in a blinding flash of insight and the next morning you simply knew what you needed to do or
less suddenly it crept up on you from the back of your mind so to speak until one day the thing that was in the back of your mind on the tip of your tongue slips out like that name oh there it is you really knew it all
along and I wonder which morning you'll discover that all problem has really gone now what happened quickly like before you even go to sleep tonight order to take a long long time like you may have to wait three whole nights for
whole nights before you really know that you've solved it once and for all I can't answer that for you when you think about it now isn't worth finding out for yourself so let's break down that trans process
of course we're using the pcat formulas the first step was to activate the problem to make the neurology activated our how do we do that well we talked about the problems they've had you had a problem for quite some time it's been
weighing on your mind that you doing this of course it begins to redefine bring it back to life to a certain extent inside their own neurology now for those of you who are quite slide you will noticed that we also use language
to begin to shift the problem a little bit from the present into the past so we started along the lines of you have a problem and you have had that problem for quite some time that problems been weighing on your mind for some time now
notice how we go from the present tense and very smooth move into a plastic hence with it of course this whole area as well becomes a yes set so we begin to use the piggyback authority strategy so that we
can start attaching solutions because already in a habit of saying yes to us so we count the next state which is the c-4 confusion which is all about confusing that critical facts regarding at the gate so you can bypass that
critical thinking and go straight to the unconscious process because we had a yes said already already bought a little bit of their attention it's more likely that they're going through and start listening to what
we're saying so you'll have spotted already some of the confusion alang guajira in order to overload their thinking it's not too much because remember we're doing this in a conversational setting and we don't get
too bizarre with it although we could do and on top of that we've also begun to change the voice tone to use a little bit of the hypnotic voice induction in order to shift towards more hypnotic patterns
lastly we also have a metaphor we're talking to the unconscious mind about forgetting about amnesia and this metaphor will be something which is about forgetting in general terms they forget the whole
process occurred but it also is a metaphor for remembering later on how to create solutions in other words whenever you have that tip of the tongue phenomenon that's a sign that the unconscious mind know something that you
don't have conscious access to yet and that's the first stage of solving problems which is to the unconscious mind find the problem solution and then to present it to consciousness so we begin the whole train were seeding the
idea that the unconscious mind knows what the answer is before the conscious mind can ever know it and already were on to the next step which is a for activate the solution we are writing to orient them to some kind of solution
state and the easiest way to do that is to use a future memory projection which is exactly what we're doing here now so we're asking unanswered questions and by orienting thinking constantly to his future for a specific kind of future
where the problem has been solved which through implication is already laying the seed for a solution to follow we're also using a language again to shift time this time instead of going from the present for the problem to the
past the problem we're shifting into the future ARF it all already over in other words it's all been solved successfully the next stage is to begin to reframe the problem itself so where we frame it here
is to remind them that that many times the past that overcome problems without you know sometimes have done it it's just that afterwards the know that occurred we're also beginning to take control of the inner pictures just as
you learn on cd5 emotional triggers and the way this is happening is there a very direct and better suggestion shrink them down to science and now that we've gone through the activation of the solution we must transform the whole
problem so that they can attach the problem and the solution together and create a complete piece we're doing that is to give process instructions the process instructions is basically stopped trying other words to
stop interfering consciously with the unconscious process and then allow the unconscious mind to really allow the process to come out naturally we're also setting a a trigger for the resource the way we sing this trigger is
to post hypnotic suggestion we're leaving it open ended so that has made different potential triggers that will trigger the solution the basic personality suggestions to trigger the solutions are either for them to go to
sleep and wake up in the morning with a solution in mind and by the way they will be going to see you at some point so therefore sort of the solution can be triggered at some point or forward to creep up on them from the back of the
mind of the front of the mind so we recycle in back to this idea of having something on the tip of your tongue and everyone has the experience that when something is on the tip of the tongue it eventually just pops out into
consciousness in the same with the solution might just pop out into consciousness finally at the end of the sequence we're using again in better suggestions to suggest that the old problem has really gone now
in other words made a problem at all thing deference in the past and it's gone now we're also reframing an assumption that it will happen at some point other words when they go to sleep or before going to sleep tonight and as
I go sleep every night in between the beautiful thing about giving the choice about when it's gonna happen on the word before they fall asleep tonight or maybe a long long time like three or four nights time is we're actually giving
something to redirect the resistance towards so if they don't feel particularly resistive they can just have a solution right away if they have something or some need to resist something then the resistance will be a
question of time rather than of whether or not the solution comes so if they want to resist properly they may take three or four nights to do this now for four nights is not a long time to wait for problem to resolve itself even if
they take a whole week to do it it's really not that long but because we framed it as a long long time then the resistance will naturally redirect down that pathway if it should occur at all
so that's a breakdown of the whole pcat formula example just giving you once you've had a chance to listen to this go back to the last track and really listen to the whole pcat formula the generic thing and see how much we can
spot on the second time around how many of those things that we've been discussing they've been learning over the course of the entire series and you'll recognize that you know a hell of a lot more about conversational-hypnosis
then you thought you did before we started listening to this now so now we'll talk a little bit about future memories your memories are kind of a halfway house between the pcat formerly just did and the suggestions of
behaviour which were going to come onto a moment's time future members are very powerful things you remember milton erickson himself as a therapist would sometimes take a client didn't know what else to do with advertise them move them
into the future to point when they've already resolved the problem that came for and simply ask them what you do to overcome these problems of course the whole therapy would then be outline for him and you just follow the steps this
client gave him in the first place the outcome would be that they overcame the problems that came to see him for its kind of a therapeutic way of cheating so future memories are very powerful because what they do is they
form at the unconscious mind so it creates a kind of a rough track into the future where a certain thing will happen think of it this way if you have a mountain that it rains on the right and go pretty much anywhere we have a
mountain and you Scouts and channels in advance you created some ditches the rain will most likely collecting those ditches and drain off for those bitches that you created creating future memories is
really a way of building those stitches it for months the unconscious mind towards actualizing the memory that you've created as though it was actually real how do you do this when he doesn't many
different ways storytelling is my favorite way of doing this go back to cd9 able to find out how do you store it into two things but you can do it with very direct suggestions you can use the my friend John technique
my friend Jane technique from cd8 all kinds of different ways doing it can also be very direct the key thing is you have to start by orienting someone towards the future now one way to do this is by asking questions or to
be like if what happens when imagine what happens if after this happened you look back on this you'll notice that this is all language that Orient's a person towards the future and sometimes it can be as simple as saying now what
would happen two years from now because for a fact you know that looking back this has all been resolved now maybe it's because you did X to resolve the problem or maybe did Y or maybe you did with my friend Jane did which was too
and you can line out another option again notice again how the future memories very simple you actually recreating whatever behavior whatever solution you have in mind and your painting that picture inside that mind
the sensory rich description is going to be very very important let's look at future memory again as a process but first thing you do is you orient them towards the future you can be about a question about the future you
might even just casually begin to daydream with them acting as it now what would it be like to do this being curious herself is actually a very good way of getting them to be curious as soon as you've oriented towards the
future you created the conditions to open the space into which you can set whatever it is the future members should be about the future memory itself can be induced primarily through sensory which descriptions in other words by
describing the particular event you can also use it in a covert fashion by using things like the my friend Jane or my friend drop technique and by describing experiences as the what happened to someone else
the other thing you can do is you can use very nonspecific language racing process oriented language saying I wonder how your unconscious mind will resolve is usually it's good to offer many different suggestions in other
words may different options if you're good you can always add a double bind which is to say make it seem like there's a lot of different options but they're really the same option on the disguise a nice little formula like to
use when orienting people towards a future memory is used the phrase as the days in the weeks and months go by and then just describing very pleasant scene that would unfold because then you can treat the
suggestions like a normal memory just let's remember about some good old times it has these good ol times happened to be in the future so let's start by looking at the nitty-gritty what is it you can actually do to get someone to do
something for you a simple behavior one of the simplest things you can do is something called a posthypnotic suggestion now posting our suggestions are wonderful creatures are basically ways that you can use trance to suggest
something with someone later on when they're outside of the trans will actually activate and actually act on so that you don't have to be present as the hypnotist while suggesting something you actually suggesting for the future which
will occur whether or not you happen to be present one of the great hypnotist man called George S approach put in a very insightful way he said there is a rule in hypnotism that everything we can get in trance can also be obtained by
means of the posthypnotic suggestion also anything that we find in either can be found in alter suggestion meaning self sedition and finally that everything we obtain any other three will be encountered in everyday life
now this is an important inside because posthypnotic suggestions are not some strange magical power that inhibitors has whilst they're powerful things and can be used in powerful ways this is a natural way of the mind remembers to do
things think about it this way an alcoholic is recovering he walked past the bar gets to with alcohol he's straight inside and before he knows it he's drinking what caused his
consciousness to shut off and the behavior to take over here's another more everyday example a friend of your decides to stop smoking it does very well for a while then one night he is out with friends he has a drink or two
and suddenly the drink and the friendship and the atmosphere the bar bang you start smoking again again what happened to shut off his willpower his decision to stop smoking
both of these examples can be explained the way in terms of posthypnotic suggestions these ones were self-induced so when you create a posthypnotic suggestion someone there's a couple of things are happening
the first thing is you're going to create a behavior in action so you suggest that it's going to happen sometime in the future the second going to do is created triggering mechanism you need some kind of mechanism that
will release the action at the right point in the right time the third thing that has to happen is somehow they could extend outside of normal conscious awareness so that the conscious mind does not interfere with
it now one of the things that characterizes a posthypnotic suggestion is the fact that the person who's been suggested to do some new behavior is under kind of compulsion to act out of that behavior in other words there is
not a volitional thing even if the person who recalls the fact the posthypnotic suggestion was given and tries to resist the person will ultimately still feel compelled to complete the task in some way this is an
important thing to realize because it shows in nature of pure unconscious action so posthypnotic suggestions by their very nature bypass the ability of the conscious mind to interfere or even resist things that's why they're so
useful for getting behaviour from people now one of the things that is in the nature of posthypnotic suggestions is that they seem to work along the lines of the axis state principle in other words when you suggest that particular
behavior a particular kind of trance in order for my behavior to come out again the person automatically slips back into that trance again this is an important thing because we have to create a mechanism to trigger the action that
mechanism is actually the one that triggers the state the triggers the action so when you're designing a posthypnotic suggestion in a moment we'll look at the actual protocol for doing this you must bear in mind what
state he creating what actually rating the later on we'll show you how to put that together into the committal formula to have a whole process in which the posthypnotic suggestion can actually sit the last thing you need to know
about posthypnotic suggestions is that they're not some kind of all powerful way of dominating someone else's will hopefully i have dispel that myth by now you see the unconscious mind still has to work within the bounds of it ethical
constraint and to use hypnosis try to get someone to break that ethic is something that has been bound to failure in many different kinds of experiments in fact George Estabrooks the very person who came up with that insightful
description of how posthypnotic suggestions work is a man who is famous for trying to recreate the metreon candidate to create some kind of hypnotic assassin that we know that he's got that role by using hypnosis
the thing is he tried for several years and failed miserably so it tells you a lot about how the unconscious mind works if you want to use posthypnotic suggestions use them for a win-win scenario and you're bound to be
successful try and create something to the detriment of someone else you'll probably have your fingers burned quite badly so I strongly advise you to keep this within the bounds of the ethical
constraints and you'll see a lot of success and what you're doing so how do you install a posthypnotic suggestion the protocol were about to cover is something taken directly from the world of milton erickson that's
something that will talk to me by my own mentors John over turf and julie silver thought remember that posthypnotic suggestions require a state to activate the actual behavior will begin with some kind of trance process then you'll come
up with the suggestions for the new behavior the next step is to induce amnesia we'll talk a little bit about more why that happens in a moment the final step is to go back to general transfer
processes and maybe even add some kind of self-affirmation some positive affirmations about the personality that self-esteem etc each of those stages is actually very important because it creates the contact
in which the posthypnotic suggestion can take the first step of creating trance actually sets the state in which a behavior can go through now the next track we look at the committee of formula we look at much more to what
kind of state will be useful for creating certain behaviors for a moment just take this is a very simple thing induce a trance and we're inducing a trance-like useful to give the unconscious mind lots of options on
freedom and how to do things if you know something about what they think is valuable in I for this like about life add those things in there as well because you're creating a kind of motivation factor for the unconscious
mind to respond to the new behaviors so all your framing can go into the same place where you're setting the state the transfer process itself the next step is to suggest the new behavior now you can do is quite directly if your guarantee
of success a bit more fully woodstock indirectly by just planting some seeds of ideas about behavior by talking about for example other people have done similar things or have had similar types of activities and slowly bring them
around video suggestion that they do the same thing the next thing you can do to assist new behaviors from taking is to use kind of open-ended language to suggestions for things i like to use questions a lot of questions allow the
people to fill in the blanks themselves and have a lot of implication about when and where to do the behavior we say for example when we discover that you've already done x already you've got this question of is going to happen it's just
a question of when you can think of this in terms of setting frames and using preset positions to presuppose to assume that it's going to just happen again it allows you to bypass a lot of potential resistance just making sure
that inside the idea is pretty much implanted that's going to happen it's just a question of how when where how much etc the other thing that you want to do the same time is to begin to provide options
for triggers a trigger is a point when the actual post hypnotic behavior is going to take effect and I could be something as simple as a light switch clicking your fingers seeing someone else's face reading a particular book
going to bed at night these are all a whole host of different trigger points which can trigger off the behavior trying to suggest it's important that you have at least one clear trigger point otherwise they'll
never know when to put the behavior interaction another very neat way of doing this will be to offer a whole list of different behaviors some of them you can be very direct about saying it will happen when you turn the light switch
when you turn the corner when you open a particular door with others you can keep more permissive and say what happened this trigger point of that trigger point will be this trigger point of a trigger point remember year more permissive and
give them lots of options was like to happen is even if they want to resist some of those options the resistance will go to one which means it affirms that the other one will actually take place so my preferred way of working
with it is to give lots of different places the thing of course i will happen is you'll tend to generalize the behavior so that the behavior can be much more a normal part of everyday life the next step is to create amnesia
how do you create amnesia well you've already come across the media technique in the whether you use language other ways to do them easier might be a simple as changing the topic if you brought to change the topic and don't come back to
the original idea it tends to just cover line of Ford and people forget all about it and I think you can do is go back to see d9 and using nested loops and this groups are wonderful things for creating amnesia
because there's so much going on so many different payoffs of the things that happen in the middle tend to be deleted as the beginning and the end of a particular sequence of thing that staying in your memory
one thing you should realize is that amnesia will tend to happen naturally anyway with in a trance process it's almost like a side effect of hypnosis particularly fractionating people in and out of trance is constantly
fractionation is when you put someone in a trance take them out put them and put them out but then put them out and things like a storytelling can be great processes for fractionating hypnotic processes
now why would you want to do some reason someone the simple reason this in order to allow the suggestion that you've planted to start taking route to take effect without some picking at it too much
now eventually it'll be fine for them to noble suggestions were because once they're embedded they can no longer interfere into the initial stages when you first suggest something that someone could not on picking things which might
make it less likely that the suggestion was acting on next stage is to go back to trance if you remember back from ct-9 about nested loops you could have nested loop of to trance processors so using the same transpose again see created a
building block both sides of the suggestion for the new behavior inside of the state of hypnosis the last that you want to take its add some kind of positive affirmations himself 15 suggestions
one of the reasons for doing this is partly because it's nice to do to someone anyway the thing is it will tend to somehow attach the behavior in other words the more they engage in these behaviors the more likely this will
become happier stronger more intelligent and all these other things that you suggest it's actually a very nice payoff for the unconscious mind to keep listening to you and following your suggestions because the person will grow
as a result so with a posthypnotic suggestion protocol you now have a very basic formula for getting action of someone but what if this is not enough what if there's something in the way that interferes with things you see
sometimes the actions that you want to suggest to people can be inhibited by all kinds of other conditions which have to be overcome before the actual behavior trying to motivate can actually take place now one of the key things you
can do to augment the power of your post hypnotic suggestions is to use the access state principal remember the access to a principal says that whatever your particular State or move dude you're more likely to affect the
actions and behaviors that come out of it so you don't change someone's behavior if you change the mood first but their behavior will tend to follow naturally think about it this way let's imagine that you want to motivate your
housemate or flatmate to go to the gym now when that person is full of energy and enthusiastic that's an easy thing to do you just tweak the motivation and off they go on the other hand when you're feeling down or lethargic without energy
it becomes an our people struggle why is that well because the state is in the wrong place the wrong state for the behavior you want is in place in order to motivate someone you also have to start paying attention to what mood are
those people in and we get the mood ride you'll start seeing that the behaviors that come out of it be very simple to induce let's talk a little bit about motivation at this point because a lot of people particularly the motivational
field will tell you just gotta get some excited and positive and all work well and to some extent there is truth in that but really there are two primary types of motivation that people respond to their is towards pleasure and then
this away from pain towards and away from i like to call these the carrot and the stick because much like motivating a donkey you both have to hang a carrot in front of its head for it to follow and you have to use a stick to it it's rum
if it's slowing down too much now every human being that you meet will have a unique combination of carrot and stick that motivates that person to certain extent everyone is motivated by a little bit of both
the question is which one of the two will motivate the more you see someone who's very away from motivated who needs to stick you can paintin pictures of Castle you can offer the money you offer all kinds of things which they will
genuinely desire and want but they won't be motivated to do something for action will not change because the state that drives that the specific behavior you need from them is something that can only be acquired
through the steak and vice versa some people no matter what threats you give them no matter how tough the situation seems to be will not move a muscle until it's not seen the benefits the carrot dangled in front of them
most people said somewhere in the whole spectrum between the two will need a little bit of both it's just a question of which one do you emphasize the most so when you come to the Camilla formula the Camilla formula
which will be introducing right now is a way of using the motivation in order to create a very specific action from someone so how do you do this kamila stands for c4 captivate attention the o is for outflank resistance the end
stands for mood knows how you affect someone's mood the I stands for intensifying that mood the L stands for linking it to some new idea or new behavior pattern and a that's what action you must release whatever you're
doing in some kind of action let's look at those in more detail for a moment the sea captivate attention but something that you become hopefully very familiar with by now this is one of the bedrocks of conversational hypnosis if you don't
have people's attention you can't to transfer processes in the way that we've been covering here in order to use conversation of Knossos as we've created the patterns here you must captivate someone's attention and able
to directed into whatever outcomes that you want is the simplest easiest and most direct way all influencing other people the next step again is not much rocket scientist outflanking someone's
resistance again we spent the better part of the last 10 cds in teaching you how to outflank that resistance to bypass the critical factor to stop the interference is going on here now this is critical by the way when it comes to
using for example the posthypnotic suggestion protocol because one of the things that can happen is that people still have excuses for why then do it in our example here if someone doesn't want to go to the gym
that is the resistance of their offering you all the reasons all the excuses those reasons and excuses are embedded within that critical thinking that any ideas that presents a new will be rejected automatically to bypass that
you must bypass the filters by confusion by outflanking but overloading but whatever one of the different methods that we've already covered so far the interesting bit comes the next stage the m the mood again this is something you
should be familiar with because on cd5 with emotional triggers you learn all about how to create certain state of mind and some other people you had a simple formula on how to use that to motivate some action here we're going to
go into that in more depth in other words when you take that mood you're going to take it into one of two directions the carrot on the stick remember some people require a kind of pain before they'll be most wanted to do
anything others require some measure of pleasure before they get motivated to do something and it's up to you to notice which one people respond to the most once you've discovered whether they are
motivated more by pleasure or by pain the character mistake the next question to ask yourself about the mood is what kind of state is going to be ideal in order to generate this behavior this kind of action
thinking back the gym example let's say that they are motivated by pain but they still need to have something more before they go to gym in other words they need to have some kind of more excited and more energetic state before they'll go
to my big question for example being fed up fed up has more energy in it then to have for example depressed or lethargic so was both might be unpleasant the one that's more likely to motivate the behavior of going to the gym it's gonna
be one with more high energy and with him away from the low-energy one so you have to decide those two things when designing the state number one is going to be careful the stick number two what's hypo state is most likely to
produce this behavior when you put the two together you'll have the perfect state in order to engender the behavior you want to have that person now move on to the next step which is the I intensify whatever States you had the
more you intensify them the more likely it is that you'll get the behavior that you want so sometimes you may have to loop through a few times before you'll have the right blend of state right intensity of states again you can go
back to cd5 on emotional triggers to find out how to do that or refresh your memory the next step dl link it until you can link something to something else the state itself will only have power
watch you're there to motivate them with it the idea of linking it is you must link it to some kind of trigger points so they can happen independently of you so you can leave the room leave the house in the country of the state and
the behavior will still be there finally you come to a to action now this is a very important step in the process first of all you got to make sure you release the behavior in other words it's not good just suggesting it creating the
perfect state and knowing that direction it goes in all that sort of stuff you don't have a trigger point that gets everything going things have to have a start button that gets things moving the action phase is very very important and
the biggest mistake people make when they do this is that they choose the wrong action to begin the sequence of behaviour remember you used your personal suggestions and your state's to implant the whole behavior chain already
the biggest mistake people make when they try and create action is they go straight for the big payoff that goes straight for the big mother lode I think of it this way let's say you want to motivate your flatmate or
roommate or house-made to wash the dishes now if you look at the sink full of dirty dishes that becomes too much as an over well so they're not likely to do it let's say you get some excitement to them more likely to do it but now
starting to look over the dishes and I might overwhelm them all over again so the heavy and they've asked for might be too large to overcome the inertia imagine following scene you've just woken up you
still sleepy and and barely being able to stand up on your own when someone suddenly ask you to sprint at full pace down the road can you do it you want to do it he'll know why because your body has been
working up yet before you can sprint at the maximum ability you have to wake up properly maybe have a cup of coffee and have a little stretch and maybe jog around a few times to get your blood going and
once you've done the warm-ups then maybe we'll do the actual sprinting so notice that your action the sprinting there is a whole process that happens to warm you up and prepare you for the pinnacle of that behavior in the same way with the
washing-up or any other kind of behavior you have to have some kind of process that leads up to it in order for the actual thing itself to take place the main event now the beautiful thing is that most behaviour for example
Washington again our chain there are natural change that when you begin one part of the behavior the whole chain runs until it's completed so the secret to action is to ask for the smallest step that leads someone in
the direction that will release or generate the whole behavior that you want to have happen in the case of washing-up it might be something as simple as getting them to simply take one plate and put it to the side and add
another plate on top of it then add another plate on top of that may be organized the plates in a nice way maybe change the washing-up water you notice how these are all small steps that they can take it is not that big a deal
it's a beginning it's a middle and an end and then conceptualized as being very quick and easy to do and because of that they don't overload by the time they've done this they have warmed up I've got into the rhythm you're doing
all the washing-up suddenly becomes no bigger deal and of course because of the posthypnotic suggestions and the access to a principle that you've already embedded earlier on they're likely to run the whole chain
that you set up for them because you've released it with a very simple part of the action so be very very specific that when you come to the a part of formula we finish whatever influencing steps that you will take you release it with a
very simple action which moves it in the direction of the behavior you want so you release the chain in a very natural sort of way now the next track we're going to show you the committee of formula in action
we're running through a whole process and here's a scenario that we've chosen for this is taking straightforward my coaching sessions with a senior manager at a large firm of accountants and auditors this man had a problem with one
of his employees who is going through one of the national examinations the junior accountant was panicking had enough revision a knife was going to fail his exams and put yourself into his chute
how would you then motivate this poor panic-stricken young accountant to actually sit down into the right stay to do some learning and to learn all those vast number of things that you've been putting off all this time I think about
it carefully how you use the committee of formula to get an outcome once you think you have an answer then listen to the next track and you'll hear one way that you can use the Camilla formula to inspire this person to start studying
and actually take that exam now the only thing I'm taking Italian advance is that this person love to ski skiing could be a good resource that you might use within the community formula to motivate action so think about that for a little
while and then move on to the next track so you've been having trouble studying for exams and I think you just told me that you've avoided doing it for some time now I know that you're afraid you might even fail these exams now and
that's because you don't know yet but there might be one way that you can still make it now I know that you've done some studying and I know that there are things that you already know about just like you know that there are things
that you don't know yet and I don't know what it is that you don't know but I do know that you don't know you don't know fully one thing and I know that is of tremendous importance to you right now and that is
that you've been through many learning experiences in the past and some of them you're actually incredibly curious about like you learn to ski in no time at all you probably don't know where that pleasure came from strapping a piece of
wouldn't your feet and throwing yourself off a mountain how can that be fun and yet it really is fun to feel the rush of the wind that cold wet snow and sometimes it's even sunny but the best part is how inside
you feel being at the bottom and looking at that great big mountain and you tell yourself well done you did it you didn't think you could beat that mountain and yet you did and you can take that pride and you
can add it to your enthusiasm for skiing because a challenge makes it all much more worthwhile and you like challenges don't you well now you really have a challenge ahead of you and this one is about as
big as a mountain you didn't think you could make it safe to the other side but then you know you've made down countless mountains in the past and many of them are much taller and steeper than this one and I
wonder what will motivate you to get back just reading your notes reminding yourself of what you do know will it be seeing your calendar on the wall that will make you think how
pleased you will be when you finally conquer this mountain perhaps it's the actual thrill of the exam itself the ability to show everyone that you are up to it maybe it's just when you head to bed that you decide to
pick up your notes and glanced through them for a while it's okay to stay up an hour longer you're young enough after all and I don't know in how many ways you can discover the pleasure of beating that
mountain for yourself and there's so much information to remember that i really don't know how much your remember to forget about the problems you've had because when you remember the things that are important information in your
notes to do well in the exams you can forget about all those other things stand in the way and you don't have to remember to forget just forget to remember the problems and you'll remember the only things of importance
of the information you need for the exams and you can forget all about the rest when you remember about those things and remembering that now you can forget all the things you need to remember anymore just like your car keys
are always where you need to find them we don't always have to remember where they are until you need to look for him now there's really not that much but i can say because really it's up to you now to think about your
own reasons for wanting to pass the exam you see you're a bright young man you've done these things in the past you've overcome so many different things and sometimes you just have to remember to look back on your past and remember
things you've done well because you do that you'll figure out that you know just a smart person but you're actually someone who's really worthwhile you pulled your waking this team relentlessly and this is just another
little hurdle that you can get through and really make a difference because it makes a difference to us how you make a difference in your own life so the question for me to ask you right now is how many different ways are you going to
get back to what you've been doing before only this time making sure that you're prepared properly so you have all the things you need to know to be able to achieve the absolute best result that you can so let's break down that last
process and find out all the things are inside of course we're using the Camilla formula and the first part the C stands for captivate you gotta captivate someone's attention now the way we did this here is again by running a yes said
yes it kind of takes that problem and it says these are the problems you're facing and because they're very much in the front of that person's mind attends to also captivate their attention that's one of the benefits of us set of
also put a little twist at the end there we say and that's because you don't know that there might be one way you can still make it was a small hook which again is designed to captivate attention we're also using the carrot on the stick
method of motivation most of it is Karen of the words saying he is a slight way out but we also stirring up a problem in other words the fact that he feels like it's going to fail in order to create a little bit of
away from motivation as well and that way we have the double motivators acting in unison his favor the next stage is 0 for outflanking the resistance or the conscious mind the will be doing that again is to use a bit of conversation or
confusion to overload the critical factor so we're going into about when he knows he doesn't know he doesn't know he doesn't know where I know it doesn't know all these double negatives begin to pile
up the point where the conference going ok what I don't know you don't know I don't know we're switching personalities in other words you and I with switching negatives until it becomes easier to just go with the flow to try and make
sense of all the little bit in between the next stage is just not working with the m the mood now remember the mood that is in right now is probably a very bad mood and negative mood is not helping motivate him to the exam to
study or anything else is feeling anxious is being afraid it's fully probably feeling depressed and a little bit miserable the fact that he hasn't done the work you need to do all these things have to be somewhere cleared up
so the mood that needs to be is one way is more curious were motivated to learn and maybe even inspired by the challenge the first thing that we do is we're going to activate a pleasant learning experience we're going to use a pleasant
learning experience from his past as a resource to attach the new learning experience in this example we know that you like skiing so we use skiing as that pleasantly example of a learning experience and we're being too activated
using that relocation process that you learned on cd5 emotional triggers we're also using a little bit of humor to shake off with last bits of a that might be left over so when you talk about throwing yourself off a mountain again
that actually acts as a reframe because we can do something as crazy as that how can something as simple as learning for exam be a problem for them then we start to move onto an extended metaphor so going back to the city of
storytelling we allow the mountain to become a reframe as a symbol for the mountains gotta climb in his own life towards the exam and as a symbol of the mountain is actually one which if I amplifiers pleasant it becomes more of a
motivator for him to be able to climb his own mind orly ski down the other side of it at the same time we're using this as an excuse to be able to give some important in better suggestions in the form of extended quotes
well done you did it you didn't think you could beat it and yet you did it in the end so these again some positive affirmations which can be put inside the extended quote and because it oriented some to offer the exams over it takes
away the fear of the examples now the anticipation is one of success rather than one failure and you're planting that seed although because you have this jewelry ality are you talking about the mountain now we're talking about the
exams the unconscious mind will actually take both readings and respond to it is they talk about both things at the same time this is a nice example of using stacked realities or multiple realities in order to suggest different things at
the same time the next point is to take the mood and intensify it the way we've intensified here is to use the challenge modality in other words make someone step up to the plate stepping up to the kind of challenge and because we're
still staying within the skiing metaphor we're adding the fact that the higher the mountainous the more fun it is to mouse mastered if someone who's a good skier is not gonna go down the simple runs because there is no fun anymore to
have to challenge themselves to keep that learning experience interesting this again becomes an instant-read frame for the challenge that he's faced with a learning experience itself once the same time intend to find the mood because
when something is more challenging you can be more focused and more dedicated to get the result the next step will be to link this to the desired action it's all well and good having the resources ready and bubbling but until
they're linked to the actual outcome the actual action required which in this case is to learn things then they don't become very useful we're going to use this link at the same time as we're going to reframe the
original problem we're going to use that metaphor of a mountain to do that remember the mountain is that your reality that we spoke about a moment ago so we started off by planting the seed of this mountain being a metaphor for
the map is gonna climb before the exam now we're making it more express so again you see the concept of starting off with planting seeds of an ideas and then coming back them later on and using more
overtly the next step will be to use that link and link that a specific action that will use action here is to use a posthypnotic suggestion for them to start studying to start learning again we're using the posthypnotic
suggestion protocol that we've discussed here which is to say we're going to give it open-ended set of suggestions so that there are many different points at which the posthypnotic suggestions can take effect and the studying begin
so we're giving him the time to just open reading the notes to remind themselves when they see the calendar to do before they go to bed all these other activities are trigger points now for the posthypnotic suggestion to take
effect the important thing here is that we're leaving it open ended because in this way they will begin to generalize so that things that we never suggested in the first place start becoming trigger points the same
posthypnotic suggestion which means that they start studying more and more and more and more different environments so because we've been using the posthypnotic suggestion we should use a posthypnotic suggestion protocol as well
which means the next step is to induce amnesia is just to stop them interfering until the posthypnotic suggestions time to really have a seed planted and grow inside so we're using a bit of an easier now to distract their attention away
from the actual suggestions and stuff that we've been doing and talk about forgetting forgetting the right things and remembering the other things of course the suggestions for forgetting can also be used to reinforce the memory
for the learning experience that they have to make before they go to the exam finally we'll finish the whole thing off with some positive suggestions about the personality about who they are their self-esteem
this allows the whole package to be wrapped up in a very pleasant and positive frame of mind so the more think about learning the more positive experience becomes for them ok now we've broken down the whole
pattern according to commit of formula it's time to go back against the previous track and we listened to it and see how much for the things that we've been talking about you can spot as you listen to it
should be able to now hear the language being put together she had the frames being said you should hear the changes in pieces and finality you should hear all the things you've been learning so far being embedded inside of the
different things that we're doing this is an important part of your learning process because when you can hear it and someone else's suggestions that means you can start doing it as well now it's time for the exercises for this CD I've
only really got one exercise for you to do and that is to take each of the formulas and start using them in practice with real people in Lori conversation the reason for this is because you have
