Rachel is asked various questions which we can predict the area of her brain that the eye pattrerns are linked to. This was one of those demos that just went perfectly! Top comments Terry Elston Terry Elston1 year ago I've had a look at all the comments and the thinking is good. Yet some of the theories are not quite accurate. We run through the eye pattern questions on every training for all participants. I run between 4-5 NLP trainings per year so that's a lot of people to look at. It doesn't mean that someone is reverse organised if they are left handed. Many are not reversed. Usual 'spot' is watch on different arm. And even when people think they are reversed it doesn't turn out that way when we spend a bit of time working out what's happening. Remember that all of us have a 'lead' system as well as the normally functioning 'primary' system. That means that many people will always go to their lead, before coming out to express through their normal eye system. The lead system looks up the info and the primary expresses it. Hope that helps. P.S. It's almost impossible to know your own system without someone trained working it to with you. Reply ToxicRa1n4 ToxicRa1n42 years ago Hey im VERY interested in NLP but in real life scenarios i find for myself looking down 80% of the time, also i feel like i have a very vivid photographic memory but when writing a test i usually close my eyes to picture it. and another weird note i find it difficult to look at someone in the eyes, i usually look at their head as a whole if that makes sense :P Reply Steve Boyd Steve Boyd2 years ago How well if the liar is repeating the same lie Reply Jeff Iko Jeff Iko3 years ago Aren't these results reversed if the person is left handed?? Reply L P L P3 years ago Reverse organized? The occipital lobe is in the same place in all brains as it the frontal, and temporal lobes. So what do you mean by reverse organized? I would think that accessing memories is a left brain (past organization) and constructing imaginations as right brain would be the same for all humans. Your thoughts. Peace. Reply Terry Elston Terry Elston3 years ago to be sure see the comments below I made today..... Reply Terry Elston Terry Elston3 years ago It's the kind of thing you'd have to be with someone else observing and asking the questions to get the accuracy and consistency. There's no-one this hasn't worked on so far in about 16 years of using it..... Reply Michael Ericson Michael Ericson3 years ago I move my eyes to the right when i am remembering AND NOT TO THE LEFT. why is that? the same when i am accessing smell taste and so fourth! SO when i am laying.. i am looking up to the left.. or the side to the left. why is this? Reply Synchrodipity Synchrodipity3 years ago Ah I think I get it now - I'd never heard of reverse modality until I looked it up just now ... I'm right handed though, diagnosed dyspraxic and dyslexic, although I don't agree with the latter diagnosis at all. :) Reply Synchrodipity Synchrodipity3 years ago If I remember my room growing up I look to *my* own right - the opposite to the girl. If I imagine my room with purple spots I look to *my* left, the opposite to the girl. However, the pet question does conform, as does the mother question - but for donald duck's voice I again look left. Poem from school, I look to my right - generally speaking my reactions seem to be a mirror of the girl in the video - not all the time, so I'm curious why my results differ for similar questions. Cheers :) Read more Reply Terry Elston Terry Elston3 years ago if your eyes are moving to the right (in your own head looking out) that's where they would be for a normally organised person remembering. If you were looking in the mirror and the eyes were to the right, it may be that you are reversed organised. If you watch the video, there is no way the participant is so clever she can predict the question and move her eyes accordingly (and why would she want to)? Where there was confusion in her mind, her eye patterns didn't conform..... Reply Synchrodipity Synchrodipity3 years ago Been looking into this sort of stuff a lot lately ... The other day I was recounting a story about my childhood and notice that my eyes were moving to the right. I wasn't constructing the story, it was coming from my memory ... does this mean that it's not a hard and fast rule? Reply Terry Elston Terry Elston3 years ago With regards to eye patterns, both making and constructing would go to the 'VC' category of Visual Construct. The only nuance would be if you were actually 'associated' to either making or constructing. Right now I'm 'making' a picture in my head of a cat, which i have no association to at all. But now I'm making/constructing a picture of my day today, which has plenty of good 'stuff' in it and feels good too!
