this has been an intense month but as of this week we're finally starting to make
some headway on the permaculture project the roads the land is passable now we split the cost of hiring an excavator to create landslide with our neighbor still needs a bit of work though we've made progress on the building materials front we don't have access to an unlimited supply of old tires you can do some amazing stuff with tires you want to see some examples do a search for the term Earthship will be using an adaptation of the construction technique that mike
Reynolds and his team developed humid climates now the locals we've talked about this part of the project I've been very interested in fact someone from the local government specifically requested that we take pictures of what we're doing apparently old tires have become a real problem in the landfill piles havebecome unmanageable and some have caught fire recently they are very keen to find
new ways to put them to productive use finally acquired the polyethylene pipe & fittings we needed drink the water from the springs down the hill the next time we have access to an excavator will be terracing the hill setting up the next series $YEAR bonds the ecosystems in the 1st bonds that we created are doing well we have multiple species of fish freshwater prawns and water plants in here the idea is to develop out self-sustaining environments
that produce large quantities of food without polluting the water basically it's a permaculture approach the aquaculture we'll get into that in more detail in a later video yesterday we worked on removing what's left of the tree trunk routes and the space is slated to be the shared kitchen once that's done we can finish the framing closing the walls and put in the floor we'll deal with that giant boulder as time allows
there's a lot to be done it's a good thing we've got help good sir yeah yeah

antibiotic resistance is a fascinating
topic fascinating study harrowing experience firsthand especially when their children involved in this video I'm going to start by describing what my family my community and I experienced during a micro epidemic of mrsa
antibiotic resistant staph which developed over the course of two years which peaks between december of $MONTH 2015 in august of $YEAR 2016 leaving me with the visual sensation of my mortality and a hole in my right long
throughout this account we will point out mistakes that were made in lessons that were learned along the way at several points in this crisis i would have died if I'd listened to the doctors and it was only by completely abandoning
their approach we broke out the antibiotic spiral finally will describe an alternative treatment protocol that we developed to get the infection under control given the rise of antibiotic resistance
this information will likely be relevant to you or those that you love within your lifetime my first close encounter with this bacteria was in 2013 when an infection and started as a small pimple on my knee began spreading rapidly
underneath my skin this condition is known as cellulitis i had never heard of such a thing and didn't realize it was in danger until it became so painful i can hardly walk the infection did not respond to the initial dosage of
antibiotics the swelling was advancing several inches per hour so I was given alarge injection I recovered from that point on I found myself highly susceptible to infections even the small scratches or cuts would get out of
control the antibiotics have destroyed an important element of my natural defenses on Thursday december $YEAR 10 2015 discovered an abscess near my tailbone when I sat down on it rupturing it internal this push the
bacteria into my bloodstream at first it wasn't clear what happened within hours i had a fever by that night I was having cold sweats and intense pain these are symptoms of sepsis an infection of the blood to
life-threatening condition however I attributed the symptoms to a cold i caught from my children at the time hada mild cough by the end of the next day I knew I had a serious problem the wound and began to turn black the
pain had become unbearable and I was a feverish I could barely walk it was friday afternoon and our family doctor was closed so I decided to wait till Monday this was a mistake when you have senses
it is crucial that you get medical attention immediately every hour counts by saturday evening it was clear that i couldn't afford to wait any longer so sunday morning i went to the hospital and after several hours of
waiting i received three large injections of antibiotics amoxicillin and ampicillin I had a fever of a hundred and 2.9 at this point in spite of a large dose of parts animal i was in sent home with prescription for
amoxicillin I trusted the doctors and take no further action at this point i would have died 24 hours later my favorite still not calm down the pain had only gotten worse I called our family doctor and he told
me to come in immediately anytime you have sepsis caused by an abscess is extremely important to get the abscess physically drained as soon as possible by themselves antibiotics are not enough to save you
one sepsis set in you must prevent new bacteria from entering the blood after my dr during the abscess surgically I asked him to take a culture to determine what we were dealing with
he didn't think this is necessary to brush the idea aside and our subsequent interactions with the medical establishment we found that this is extremely common doctors rarely want to go to the trouble of performing a full
culture for common infections sometimes they flat-out refuse in the age of antibiotic resistance this is a serious problem 12 hours after the surgery the fever and pain and beginto subside
however throughout the duration of the prescription I still had cold sweats at night and during the day I thought week for some reason the cop wasn't going away either after the antibiotics were finished cold sweats continued fatigue
got worse and i begin to lose my appetite I waited two weeks to go back to the dr which was a mistake by that time the coffee got worse at a constant pain in my chest and I was sweating so much at
night that I would go through three sets of garments by morning i was also having flashes of pimples rashes and swelling up here all over my body simultaneously when I described my symptoms doctor ordered a chest x-ray and put me on a
new antibiotic ciprofloxacin chest x-ray results were shocking i was told that at one point six centimeter whole my right long and scarification on both sides damage is permanent based on the symptoms the doctor assume that i
had tuberculosis and three weeks were wasted on tests that turned out to be useless in the meantime I began coughing up blood and pause the results for TB or negative the whole my long was caused by a long absence one staff gets into your
blood it can travel anywhere in your body causing infections the common cough that I required for my children created a week . of my lungs which allow the infection to take hold unfortunately combined with the fatigue
and the night sweats the symptoms were indistinguishable from those of tuberculosis due to this misdiagnosis the proper tests were not performed until too late we still don't know for sure what kind of bacteria we're dealing
with after two weeks on a new antibiotic azithromycin cough finally subsided and the night sweats stopped the doctor ended the prescription this is january $MONTH twenty-fourth
within three days of ending the antibiotics the night sweats return and I began to have flushes of pimples appear at random parts of my body again at this point I resisted returning to the doctor I no longer had any
confidence in their approach however after about two months the night sweats are becoming unbearable and some of the pimples were developing into large abscesses so finally I scheduled an appointment to get one of the abscesses
culture results of the culture confirmed what I suspected it was antibiotic resistant staph and there were only a few medications that it was sensitive to I was placed some one of these co-trimoxazole own for over a month at
this stage we began to do our own research the doctors had given has absolutely no information about this bacteria or how to control it we discovered that staff is highly contagious and can survive on surfaces
and fabrics for several weeks and you can easily pass from person to person through casual contact we also discovered that Marissa was rampant inthe community once we recognize the symptoms we realized that have been
circulating among the children in the form of the title which is caused by staff for over a year this became a serious problem after the co-trimoxazole prescription ended i wasimmediately reinfected by one of my
friends children my body was completelyunable to defend it and i still didn't know why I didn't want to get on antibiotics again so i began to try home remedies some of these remedies seem to help some made it worse
but nothing stopped completely then one of the infections got out of control and begin spreading rapidly through my left arm was forced to go back to the doctor by the time we got a new culture done
showed that the bacteria developed resistance to all the previous antibiotics and there were only two medications left that could be taken without an IV get recycling and fantasy to prevent it from getting resistance
was placed on both of these at the same time when the doctor removed the scab we discovered that the infection had a hole into my forearm full one-quarter inch deep because it was so deep it took just over two months to heal i continue
taking both of these antibiotics for that entire period by the time the whole enclosed i was already seeing signs of the bacteria acquired resistance during this two-month period itself quarantined to avoid infection our children were
visiting their grandparents and one of the men put on antibiotics during the visit to fight her own infection just before they returned her symptoms came back at this point it became clear that i was going to get infected
it was also clear that antibiotics were dead end we had defined an alternate solution after some research we implemented a protocol which included eliminating vectors of transmission dietary and lifestyle changes probiotics
and oregano oil as an internal supplement its protocol held and may have eventually worked on its own however would stop the infection its tracks was an experimental technique that we developed based on how bacteria
operate after each round of antibiotics since first infection in 2013 had taken probiotic pills to re-establish the bacteria that normally inhabit the digestive system antibiotics white these out and there are a number of secondary
symptoms that can occur as a result however these probiotic pills are only effective for rebuilding the bacteria in the god it doesn't help with the bacterial skin healthy skin is colonized by good bacteria which former first line
of defense killing it creates a vacuum after months of heavy antibiotics I had totally wiped out my skin's ecosystem once I realized this it dawned on me that I had to find a way to repopulate the good bacteria on the skin
to do so i started by buying a bottle of wide spectrum probiotics in capsule form and then created a culture of this bacteria by emptying the contents of one capsule into a 1 quart jar cool black tea with 1 cup sugar I didn't cover the
jar with a cloth and set it on a shelf this is based on the formula used for kombucha and the fear which contain many of the same strains of bacteria within a few days we can see signs that the bacteria was colonizing the solution
after being in contact with my daughter had already developed several small pimples even though I was still taking pet recycling your fam person so I dropped the antibiotics completely we begin applying the t2 our entire body
after shower we would exit the shower without rinsing off the tee and dry off with a clean towel the effect was immediate pimples cleared up completely despite the fact that i was very exposed
to staff several times cuts and scrapes no longer became infected by default normal cleaning and managing was enough to allow them to heal the dead skin cells on the surface of our skin our food source for many types of bacteria
it is quite literally an ecosystem one way or another that ecosystem is going to be occupied avoiding bad bacteria is impossible staff is everywhere in fact twenty percent of the population carry it at all times
the only long-term protection is to fill that niche with strains that are beneficial it's important to note however that the overall state of one's immune system is a critical barrier during this infection i experienced
firsthand the correlation between too little sleep exhaustion or diet stress and the symptoms unfortunately most doctors neglect to mention any of this most resort to antibiotics by default and often
prescribe them properly when they aren't actually needed at all if all you have is a hammer every problem looks like a nail there are a number of experimental therapies which hold promise for the
treatment of antibiotic-resistant bacteria it in the future but it may be years before these are widely available in the meantime if you or your family find yourself dealing with an infection that
just won't go away it's important to realize that conventional medicine will not be able to help you and your doctor may pressure you to pursue treatments only make your condition worse
that's a frightening reality to come to terms with what if you do your research and take responsibility for your own health there is hope for more details and specific instructions on treating and

How to fight chronic staph infections of the skin when antibiotics stop working
Antibiotic resistance is a fascinating topic. Fascinating to study. Harrowing to experience first hand. Especially when there are children involved.
In this video I am going to start by describing what my family, my community and I experienced during a micro-epidemic of MRSA (Antibiotic Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) that developed over the course of two years, and which peaked between December of 2015 and August of 2016, leaving me with a visceral sensation of my mortality, and a hole in my right lung. Throughout this account we will point out mistakes that were made and lessons that were learned along the way. At several points in this crisis I would have died if I listened to the doctors, and it was only by completely abandoning their approach that we broke out of the antibiotic spiral. Finally, we'll describe an alternative treatment protocol we developed to get the infection under control. Given the rise of antibiotic resistance, this information will likely be relevant to you or those that you love within your lifetime.
Note: At the end of this article we will include information that did not fit into the video.
My first close encounter with this bacteria was in 2013 when an infection that started as a small pimple on my knee began spreading rapidly underneath my skin. This condition is known as cellulitis. I had never heard of such a thing, and didn't realize I was in danger until it became so painful I could hardly walk.
The infection did not respond to the initial dosage of antibiotics (the swelling was advancing several inches per hour) so I was given a large injection. I recovered, but from that point on I found myself highly susceptible to infections. Even the smallest scratches or cuts would get out of control. The antibiotics had destroyed an important element of my natural defenses.
On Thursday December 10th of 2015 I discovered an abscess near my tailbone when I sat down on it rupturing it internally. This pushed the bacteria into my blood stream. At first it wasn't clear what had happened. Within hours I had a fever. By that night I was having cold sweats, and intense pain. These were symptoms of sepsis, an infection of the blood. It's a life threatening condition. However I attributed the symptoms to a cold I had caught from my children. At the time I had a mild cough.
By the end of the next day I knew I had a serious problem. The wound had begun to turn black, the pain had become unbearable, and I was so feverish that I could barely walk. It was Friday afternoon and our family doctor was closed, so I decided to wait until Monday. This was a mistake. When you have sepsis it is crucial that you get medical attention immediately. Every hour counts.
By Saturday evening it was clear that I couldn't afford to wait any longer. So Sunday morning I went to the hospital and after several hours of waiting I received three large injections of antibiotics (amoxicillin and ampicillin). My fever was at 102.9 in spite of a large dose of paracetamol. I was then sent home with a prescription for amoxicillin. If I had trusted the doctors at this point, and taken no further action I would have died.
Twenty four hours later my fever had still not gone down, and the pain had only gotten worse. I called our family doctor and he told me to come in immediately. Any time you have sepsis caused by an abscess it is extremely important to get the abscess physically drained as soon as possible. By themselves, antibiotics are not enough to save you once sepsis has set in. You must prevent new bacteria from entering the blood.
After my doctor drained the abscess surgically I asked him to take a culture to determine what we were dealing with. He didn't think this was necessary and he brushed the idea aside. In our subsequent interactions with the medical establishment we found that this is extremely common. Doctors rarely want to go to the trouble of performing a full culture for common infections. Sometimes they flat out refuse. In the age of antibiotic resistance this is a serious problem.
12 hours after the surgery the fever and pain began to subside. However throughout the duration of the prescription I still had cold sweats at night, and during the day I felt weak. For some reason the cough wasn't going away either.
After the antibiotics were finished the cold sweats continued, the fatigue got worse, and I began to lose my appetite. I waited two weeks to go back to the doctor. By that time the cough had gotten worse, I had a constant pain in my chest, and I was sweating so much at night that I would go through three sets of garments by morning. I was also having flushes of pimples, rashes and swelling appear all over my body simultaneously. When I described my symptoms the doctor ordered a chest x-ray, and put me on a new antibiotic: ciprofloxacin.
The chest x-ray results were shocking. I was told that I had a 1.6 centimeter hole in my right lung and scarification on both sides. This damage was permanent.
Based on the symptoms the doctor assumed that I had tuberculosis, and three weeks were wasted on tests that turned out to be useless. The results for TB were negative. In the meantime I had began coughing up blood and pus.
The hole in my lung was caused by a lung abscess. Once staph gets into your blood it can travel anywhere in your body causing new infections. The common cough that I had acquired from my children had created a weak point in my lungs which allowed the infection to take hold. Unfortunately, combined with the fatigue and night sweats, the symptoms were indistinguishable from those of tuberculosis. Due to this misdiagnosis the proper tests were not performed until too late. We still didn't know for sure what kind of bacteria we were dealing with.
After two weeks on a new antibiotic, azithromycin, the cough finally subsided and the night sweats stopped, so the doctor didn't renew the prescription. This was January 24th.
Within three days of ending the antibiotics the night sweats returned, and I began to have flushes of pimples appear in random parts of my body again. At this point I resisted returning to the doctor. I no longer had any confidence in their approach.
However after about two months, the night sweats were becoming unbearable, and some of the pimples were developing into large abscesses. So finally I scheduled an appointment to get one of the abscess cultured.
The results of the culture confirmed what I suspected. It was antibiotic resistant staph, and there were only a few medications that it was sensitive to. I was placed on one of these, co-trimoxazole (Bactrim), for over a month.
At this stage we began to do our own research. The doctors had given us absolutely no information about this bacteria or how to control it. We discovered that staph is highly contagious. It can survive on surfaces and fabrics for several weeks, and it can easily pass from person to person through casual contact.
We also discovered that MRSA was rampant in the community. Once we recognized the symptoms we realized that it had been circulating among the children in the form of impetigo (which is caused by staph) for over a year. This became a serious problem. After the cotrimoxazole prescription ended, I was immediately reinfected by one of my friend's children. My body was completely unable to defend itself and I still didn't know why.
I didn't want to get on antibiotics again so I began trying home remedies. Some of these remedies seemed to help, some made it worse, but nothing stopped it completely. Then one of the infections got out of control and began spreading rapidly through my arm. I was forced to go back to the doctor.
By the time we got a new culture done, it showed that the bacteria had developed resistance to all the previous antibiotics and there were only two medications left that could be taken without an i.v.: Tetracycline and Rifampicin. To prevent it from gaining resistance I was placed on both of these at the same time.
When the doctor removed the scab, we discovered that the infection had dug hole into my forearm a full 1/4 inch deep. Because it was so deep it took just over two months to heal. I continued taking both of these antibiotics for that entire period. By the time the hole had closed I was already seeing signs that the bacteria had acquired resistance.
During this two month period I had self quarantined to avoid reinfection. My children were visiting their grandparents and one of them had been put on antibiotics during the visit to fight her own infection. Just before they returned her symptoms came back. At this point it was clear that I was going to get reinfected. It was also clear that antibiotics were a dead end. We had to find an alternate solution.
After some research we implemented a protocol which included eliminating vectors of transmission, dietary and lifestyle changes, probiotics and oregano oil as an internal supplement. This protocol helped, and may have eventually worked on its own, however what stopped the infection in its tracks was an experimental technique that we developed based on how bacteria operate.
After each round of antibiotics since the first infection in 2013 I had taken probiotic pills to reestablish the bacteria that normally inhabit the digestive system. Antibiotics wipe these out, and there are a number of secondary symptoms that can occur as a result (candida infestation for example). However these probiotic pills were only effective for rebuilding the bacteria in the gut, it doesn't help with the bacteria of the skin. Healthy skin is colonized by good bacteria which form our first line of defense. Killing it creates a vacuum. After months of heavy antibiotics I had totally wiped out my skin's ecosystem.
Once I realized this, it dawned on me that I had to find a way to repopulate the good bacteria on the skin. To do so I started by buying a bottle of wide spectrum probiotics in capsule form. (You can get this at any good health food store, and you can even order it from Amazon.) I then created a culture of this bacteria by emptying the contents of one capsule into a 1 quart jar of cooled black tea with 1 cup sugar. I then covered the jar with a cloth and set it in on a shelf. (This is based on the formula used for Kombucha and Kefir which contain many of the same strains of bacteria.) Within a few days we could see signs that the bacteria was colonizing the solution.
After being in contact with my daughter I had already developed several small pimples even though I was still taking tetracycline and rifampicin. So I dropped the antibiotics completely and we began applying the tea to our entire body after each shower. We would exit the shower without rinsing off the tea and dry off with a clean towel.
The effect was immediate. The pimples cleared up completely, in spite of the fact that I was re-exposed to staph several times. Cuts and scrapes no longer became infected by default. Normal cleaning and bandaging was enough to allow them to heal.
The dead cells on the surface of our skin is a food source for many types of bacteria. It is quite literally an ecosystem. One way or another that ecosystem is going to be occupied. Avoiding exposure to bad bacteria is impossible. Staph is everywhere, in fact 20% of the population carry it at all times. The only long term protection is to fill that niche with strains that are beneficial.
It's important to note, however, that the overall state of one's immune system is a critical variable. During this infection I experienced first hand the correlation between too little sleep, exhaustion, poor diet, and stress and the symptoms. Unfortunately most doctors neglect to mention any of this. Most resort to antibiotics by default, and often prescribe them improperly or when they aren't needed at all. If all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
There are a number of experimental therapies (Bacteriophage therapy for example) which hold promise for the treatment of antibiotic resistant bacteria in the future, but it may be years before these are widely available. In the meantime, if you or your family find yourself dealing with an infection that just won't go away, it's important to realize that conventional medicine may not be able to help you, and that your doctor may pressure you to pursue treatments that only make your condition worse. That's a frightening reality to come to terms with, but if you do your research, and take responsibility for your own health, there is hope.
Additional Information on Preventing and Managing MRSA Outbreaks
MRSA outbreaks often begin with a rash or tiny pimples may seem innocuous at first. These symptoms can appear 1-2 days after being in contact with someone who has an active infection. It is highly important to treat these right away and not wait until they progress. If you catch an infection in the beginning it can usually be stopped if you isolate them by cleaning the surface with povidone iodine, applying the proper antibacterial cream and then bandaging. Do not use an over the counter triple anti-biotic cream such as Neosporin. These simply do not work with MRSA. Fusidic acid and mupirocin are very effective especially if applied together. Fusidic acid stops the growth of bacteria and facilitates wound drainage. Mupirocin actively kills bacteria and is able to absorb into the skin to stop abscesses from growing. These creams require a prescription.
Avoid the temptation to squeeze MRSA pimples or abscesses. Often a MRSA pimple or abscess will look like a common pimple, and when it surfaces it may seem like it would be easy to pop, however the infection may be deeper than it seems, and squeezing often leads to complications, especially if you are dealing with a chronic condition. Do not assume that your doctor will know this. On two occasions I had doctors squeeze active MRSA infections without asking first. Both times led to complications (cellulitis).
Protect Your Immune System. If you have a serious staph infection it is important to do everything you can to help your immune system win. - Cut out alcohol completely. Binging even just once has a significant impact on the immune system. The effects can begin in as little as 20 minutes. - Reduce refined sugars as much as possible. Studies have found that sugar consumption reduces the effectiveness of our white blood cells. - Avoid repeated sessions of heavy labor or exercise. Studies have found that even just two consecutive days of heavy exercise or labor weaken the immune system. A separate study found that three days of consecutive exercise lowers lymphocyte counts. - If you have an active MRSA infection bathe obsessively (especially when doing physical work). Staph spreads through sweat and grows very, very rapidly. If you are doing 8 hour work days you should shower at least once in the middle of the day to reset bacterial growth. - Disinfect obsessively and avoid reusing contaminated items. For example I had a pair of work gloves that I realized were spreading the infection on my hands. Staph can live for weeks or months on fabrics and surfaces. It pays to get paranoid about these things.
Notes on Probiotic Cultures
Make sure you are starting with a live culture. We used Solaray Multidophilus which is available in most healthfood stores (and on Amazon). Probiotics must be kept refrigerated. If your bottle has gotten exposed to heat you will see much less bacterial growth.
I generally use about 1 cup of sugar for one quart of water/tea. This doesn't have to be precise. The most important thing is to avoid starving the bacteria. As the sugar is consumed by the bacteria, more can be added.
As the culture grows it will gradually convert the sugar into alcohol and then the alcohol into vinegar (acetic acid). Oxygen is necessary for breaking down the alcohol into vinegar (hence the use of a cloth to cover it).
Probiotic bacteria grow best at warm temperatures. If you want to slow down a culture or preserve it for later use it can be sealed and refrigerated.
Grow your culture until you see strands of bacteria floating in the liquid. This will take a few days at minimum. Eventually these strands will clump into a gooey blob that floats on the surface. With kombucha this is called a scobi. In general a probiotic culture is indistinguishable from kombucha tea.

I had a similar problem. 5 surgeries on my leg, 4 months in hospital. They could not stop the infection. They almost amputated my leg. I almost died. The pain was unbearable - i was on morphene, oxicontin, oxicodine. Then I discovered Essential Oils and the proper protocol to use them. I had an open surgical wound 14 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. The wound was open and NOT stitched closed. It took 10 months for my wound to close. email me at PaulYourHelper@gmail.com for details on the right oils and protocols. With Essential Oils , it all could have been prevented. I lost part of my leg muscle, was in undescibable pain, and 1.5 years of my life.

Where did you buy your essential oils? My daughter got a mersa type infection after knee surgery, she had to have a pic line inserted into her chest "main line antibiotics " for a month. Unfortunately the infection ate through her entire leg bone and left her with terrible pain. Her whole body is wracked with pain

Kathaleen Robinson I saw your question right after I clicked on the video above which took me directly to the clip on YouTube. A comment by Rhonda Schmit: "The other thing that's supposed to kill MRSA is Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils used TOGETHER." But she doesn't say any more, so I'm only assuming here, that the proportions would be 50/50. I don't use Google, but did a DuckDuckGo search and there's a lot there, including an article: http://www.rd.com/health/wellness/tea-tree-oil-uses/ I suggest double clicking on Storm Clouds video above, and then reading the comments there. Good luck.

some folks like myself have multiple chemical sensitivities to Balsam of Peru and it's cross contaminates such as tea tree oil and to fragrance mix, hence essential oils including lavender

This is something like what I'm going through right now. No good bacteria in my gut. High exposure to molds & fungus with not immune system to fight off problems. You are great to announce it to the world. Kudos to you.

Mold and fungus are the worst because they really deplete the body yet have very little tell tale signs.

I have allergies to black mold and could not make it to maintenance dose of immunology shots and Xolair shots did not work either...I have had a skin rash for ten years unresolved despite dermatologists, allergist, doctors. Having more blood labs~

One of the first lines of defense for your immune system is having an abundance of "good" gut bacteria... it turns out that the best way to create this "good" bacteria is by eating a vegetarian diet; it seems that fiber is great “food” for building and maintaining beneficial bacteria in our gut, where as eating animal products is not. (e.g. Meat, Fish and Dairy) And yes, a course of antibiotics will knock-out a good portion of this very helpful gut bacteria -which can be built up again quickly by eating a plant based diet. Learn all about this and other good reasons to become a vegetarian from the following GREAT site -all free and extremely useful. The information on this site is gleaned from thousands of research papers from peered reviewed medical journals, thus the nutritionFACTs site name. http://nutritionfacts.org Sign up for Dr. Michael Greger’s FREE daily 5 minute videos for great useable information every day. I have been a strict vegetarian/vegan for 15 years, and last ten years with unresolved skin rash. I have worked with allergist for past year and IgE 820 (four fold since a year ago) to no avail. I am low in B12 and am allergic to B12 injections...it is possible that my body is not processing other forms of vitamin B and need to avoid folic acid (pending blood lab for gene mutation of MTHFR) yet natural forms of folate such as in beans and lentils, broccoli, asparagus, avocados, and mangos. For B2 maybe why I like almond butter, almond beverage, almonds in trail mix and crave hard boiled-eggs in last year, mushrooms, and spinach. For B6 sunflower seeds and pitachios in trail mix, bananas, Avos, spinach~ Sometimes plant based whole food diet isn't enough.

Would have never thought you'd make a video on this but it is very Synchy as i had been diagnosed a MRSA a few months ago. I too took antibiotics during 2 months but it didn't stopped it. Fortunately my Doctor has tried by himself to offer alternatives to traditional medical treatments. The remedy he talked me about doesn't make it disappear but contains it sort of. I need to do it everyday and i feel that the infection is ready to come back (it scratches a bit) but it is never going into the big pustules anymore. I am currently trying other interesting paths one of those is Nigel Oil or Black...See More

This is Frank, Nurit`s huband. Please consider, look into, MMS. At Genesis 2 Church website (and other websites) you can find the information you`ll need for controlling and curing MRSA relatively (to your story) more easily. MMS is a human friendly (do not be swayed by Wikileaks) chemical, CLO2, produced by combining a dilute solution of Sodium Chlorite with an acid, whose antiseptic and oxidizing qualities are brilliant. It can, and should be, used topically and internally for eliminating MRSA. You should have this simple, inexpensive and easily acquired chemical in your medicine chest. The website(s) explain the proper preparation and protocols for use of CLO2. Contine to be well and thank you for sharing your hard won advice. Thank you very much as well for your SCG posts.

Adding my family's agreement with using MMS - acid activated sodium chlorite. Citric acid 28% or hydrochloric acid 4% are typically used, drop per drop equal in portion to the sodium chlorite 22.4%/28% solution, or you can use 4 drops lemon juice per drop of sodium chlorite as a local acid activator alternative. We have been happy with the quality of the convenient packages keavyscorner offers, but have found the white plastic bottles get brittle and don't store safely more than a year. Clear very sticky packing tape can seal cracks (formed when squeezing to get drops out of a bottle head t...See More

It's good to see you are still here, and alive. It's clear that the Medical Industrial Complex, and those that occupy and work in, have no clue, no apathy, sympathy, they don't care, only for the money they make to enrichen themselves, and the kick-backs they can get from the Big Parmaceutical Cartels. All the 100's of thousands of dollars they spend on education to be ("Supposed Doctors"), are only so, by that silly piece of paper that hangs on their wall, saying they have "Licensed Permision" to practice medicine on you and masses of others as well, but yet, they don't know anything at all...See More

If you keep the body alkaline, the bad bacteria cannot grow or cultivate. This deal with cancer cells and a host of many other illnesses. Broccoli, spinach and greens keep the body alkaline. Avoid sugars as this is very acidic and would propugage the bad bacteria in the gut and elsewhere. Internet search for alkaline foods and try to maximize your intake with the best alkaline levels. Coffee is highly acidic too and must be avoided. Want to boost the alkaline levels easily? A teaspoonful of bicarbonate of soda, with some tapid water does the trick. Buy urine sticks to gauge PH levels and monitor it. Doctors do not study nutrition at Universities and studies only what the pharmaceutical industry dictates to the medicine deanary.

There are other alternative therapies for halting the progresson of this infection and destroying it.. One is the use of Colloidal silver or silver gel for any skin lesion, pimple, etc. The other is to use Hydrogen Peroxide. Hydrogen Peroxide will kill all anerobes and viruses. Anerobes are bacteria that will die in an oxygen environmment. All pathogenic bacteria are anerobes. Hydrogen Peroxide is available in a concentrated form that is food grade at 35 percent. This can be diluted with distilled water to any concentration needed such as 3%. It can also be taken internally by using drops of the 35 percent added to water.

You might want to check out using Colloidal Silver. I have been using low PPM (10-18) colloidal silver to treat all sorts of infections and it has proven to be highly effective for me. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence on its efficacy against MRSA. I wish you well and ever lasting health!

Additional note. I have been in so called health care for 36 years as an RN. I have lost faith in everything in health care. I have been studying on my own alternative medicine and alernative therapies. What the Creator has provided to us in nature is more powerful than any therapy in western medicine.

If you had only known how to do vitamin C flushes from the get-go of your MRSA infection, you would have been saved yourself all that enormous long misery and pain. I am referring to powdered C sodium ascorbates, not just ascorbic acid. everyone shoud be on daily doses of the ascorbate C - we live in a very toxic world now. Also, coffee enemas would have helped, forcing your body to produce more bile to quickly dump out toxins. These enemas also help relieve pain. Thank you for sharing your experience and valuable information. Probiotics are invaluable!

I think if you are going to drink alcohol, it should only be local craft brews, preferably strong bitters or IPA's. That and maybe a small glass of wine is ok too. Also I think you should check out some herbs like ashwagandha for boosting the immune system and reducing stress.

Very interesting article and I am so glad you have recovered. I had developed a small abcess (MSSA) below my knee after knee replacement surgery. Did the PIC LIne twice, lots of antibiotic pills and two different doctors. while recovering at home I ran across a product Manuka Honey from New Zealand. I read quite a bit of research on how this honey would help kill the bacteria and close the wound. I treated the wound topically with a 15% UMF (Unique Manuka Factor). Within three days the wound was closed and the abcess dried up. I now take the honey in a lesser concentation everyday whether it be in my morning protein shakes or eat it right out the container. It really taste great. It is non processed, so it is not translucent as you would buy at the store. https://www.amazon.com/.../ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00... http://www.naturalnews.com/035959_manuka_honey_healing... Combined with certain antibiotics it is really powerful.

You never considered colloidal silver? The outer valance of the cell is positively charged. Virus and bacteria outer valance is negatively charged. ZAP!!! Electric fence in your blood stream. It does not harm the gut flora as gut flora is not a bacteria that relies on oxygen as the harmful bacteria does. Lot's of information out there on colloidal killoing MRSA. Tough break either way.

I use Dr. Mercola's culture starter to make fermented pickles. He says that you will get more good bacteria from homemade pickles to recolonize gut bacteria that have been killed by antibiotics than taking expensive probiotics. Glad your situation is under control.

My girlfriend and I fought the battle with MRSA for 2 years before finally figuring out a system that worked for us. But I can tell you, that feeling when the doctor is out of options, the paranoia over every ingrown hair and zit, the pain, the stigma. This is a real life nightmare, that we have, somewhat, created ourselves. We personally first burned all of our clothes, bedding, anything that could be contaminated. It sucked yes, but I have a little brother who is severly immuno suppressed and the thought of giving it to him, and it being potentally fatal, was a strong motivator. After this we actually paid a professional to come and clean our apartment. We were both too weak, and unequiped, to deal with it ourselves with the level of results we required. After this, it was mainly a combination of Manuka honey and silver. The first time I went to see my doctor, and this was my grandpas doctor, my dads 9 brothers and sisters see him and I trust and love the guy wholeheartedly, he basically told me what he didn't know and refered me to the provincial department of infectious disease. The problem is this whole issue is evolving so quickly, the bacteria geno morphing so rapidly, that the medical field is struggling to keep up. One doctor or professional will tell you one thing while another will tell you the opposite. Even the literature (this was 3 years ago) was divided. I took it upon myself, as I always really have, to do my own research and figure this out. Manuka honey is the key. THIS IS A SUPER FOOD AND JUST ONE OF THE MANY REASONS THE ENDANGERED STATUS OF HONEYBEES WORLD WIDE IS CATASTROPHIC! Topically I would apply and cover. The abcess would hurt less instantly. It would come to a head much quicker, stay smaller overall and be less deep with this application. But the real breakthrough for us came when I began to use the honey internally. I now have a smoothie with all the good stuff, and I add a tablespoon of honey. BAM. Have had no real issues since. This in congunction with silver and a PARANIOD AND OCD like bathing did the trick. I'd also encourage increased clothes and espically bedding changes. These are a breeding ground for staph bacteria. Good luck everyone!

One of my best friends, a man that saved my life died of MRSA related complications that evolved into untreated cancer. He moved to Houston and when finally diagnosed, was stage 3. He died six months later. From my own experience, doctors often don't know or believe they already know, worse they can't take direction from laymen. My own experience with a rash and years of misdiagnosis confirms what you know now. As my grandmother would say, "Doctors don't know about those things." I hope you get well, we need you. And thank you for your contribution. If you ever need anything and I can help, please let me know.

I have found that a poultice of bentonite clay with oregano oil, thieves oil, Oregon grape tincture and olive leaf extract on a gauze soaked with colloidal silver is excellent for drawing out the infection. I have done this for years on my husband. Thank you so much for sharing about topically applying the probiotics. I am ordering more now.
